Paula G.Jim and his crew did an oil-to-gas conversion for me, and I could not be more thrilled with their service. The installation included a new gas boiler, 2 automatic water refills, and removal of an old oil tank. They were fantastic in every respect. The unit is in place and working beautifully. During the inspection, the town official commented that he was so happy to see EVERYTHING DONE RIGHT! Lastly, as I live out of state, I needed extra help on this job - Jim came to the house multiple times to manually add oil to the tank while the new boiler was being ordered. His company is honest, professional, responsive (return phone calls right away), and they went above and beyond. They were AWESOME!

Seemed good at first then didn't show up on install day and wont answer my calls to return my deposit.
They gave me a temporary fix to get me through til the install that broke very quickly cause he broke the bracket on the motor.
Avoid this company ! They installed a boiler for me and the told me the automatic water feeder was not included even though the sales contract stated it was. They said they would be over 3 different days to put the water feeder in and never called or showed up. After many phone calls and arguments they finally put the water feeder in. One of their employees came to my house and started yelling at me about having to put the automatic water feeder in. They wrote the sales contract, not me. The owner Jim also was very unprofessional , stating that is a $200 part! I was told by another plumber they over charged me on the price of the boiler . This company is only concerned with ripping off hard working people.
I own two rental properties one in Johnston and in Cranston and each property has its unique quirks. I was referred to Jim's company by my snow removal guy Tom, who's excellent by the way. I called Jim up after waiting for close to two hours for another plumbing company who was supposed to call me to let me know when they ""might"" be able to come check out the problem. I explained the situation to Jim, he was over in about 15 minutes, figured out the problem and was done in a half hour.
Today, my water heater leaked in the basement in Cranston and I needed to have it replaced. I gave Jim a call and he and his son came over, replaced the water heater, installed the new one and 45 minutes later were on their way out.
I read some reviews after my first meeting with Jim and a lot were not so nice. All I can say is my experience was great both times and I'm sure in the future, it'll probably be the same. When you can't do the job yourself, you will probably pay a lot of money but it'll save a lot of headaches and time. I pay for peace of mind knowing that someone knows their job, is a professional and has no problems answering questions.

I am writing this review on behalf of my blind friend.
He hired vincent Fusco of Kwik Plumbing & Heating to come out and look at his boiler on a Thursday.. Vincent (the owner) came out that same afternoon around 2pm and claimed the problem was a gas valve and that he would return the following day with the part. I could not be there the following day to assist my blind friend so we prepaid him $350 for the part and labor. I know, big mistake on our part. He came back the following day, much later than the time he said he would and he did not have the part. Instead Vincent brought a ""manometer"" to measure gas flow, something he probably should have checked during the first visit. He then said he was now positive it was the valve. He said he would have the valve the following day which was Saturday and be back to finish the repairs. Saturday comes and ""oops, he didnt realize"" it was Veteran's day and the supply houses wouldn't be open. Now we have to wait until Monday. He finally shows up again Monday afternoon and supposedly changes the gas valve (again, I could not be there to verify) and the unit is still not working. After ""futher testing"" he is now saying it is the control board and it will be two more days for the part. Keep in mind we later found out this was a part many supply houses keep in stock and can be picked up the same day. After getting the run around for almost a week and trying to avoid another potentially costly un-needed part, we decided to get a second opinion. Another plumber came out and within an hour determined that a vaccum hose had come diconnected from an exhaust vent preventing the boiler from firing. He fixed it, then and there, no parts needed. I contacted Vincent and told him the other plumber diagnosed and fixed the boiler in less then 2 hours with no parts needed. Vincent the owner of Kwik agreed via text message to give my friend a refund. After trying to contact Vincent for several days about the refund, he has not responded. Vincent from Kwik plumbing now refuses to refund my friend the $350. My friend is blind and on a fixed income and this is just terrible service and taking advantage of someone who can not see is just not right.
Tony P.Jimmy at KWIK very quick and efficient. There is someone always on call. He services our boiler on an annual basis and gives us a service contract. He's come anytime we've called him. Unlike other plumbers he makes his recommendations without the high pressure or being overbearing. He's a quiet humble guy who gets the work done. He lines the path to your boiler with paper - so his greasy boots don't hit your carpet. He leaves behind an oily smelly but what do you expect.
Had an appointment with these guys and sat at one of my properties that I don't live at for hours waiting..No phone call or anything..I guess they think there time is the only ones that is worth anything..very unprofessional!!!

I had a problem with my hot water heater the day before Thanksgiving and they came immediately and installed a new water heater and fixed the problem in less than 2 hours. We had a very Happy Thanksgiving instead of what could have been a disaster. THank you Kwik Plumbing.
