I bought a house in Pleasant Hills 12 years ago. The house was built in the 50's so naturally things start to fail which included for me much of the plumbing. I found K-Plumbing when my first need came up and I have used their services ever since. I will not call anyone else and appreciate the work they have done for me over the years.

They were on time, their quote was straightforward, the work was done quickly and looks to be of very good quality. Overall made a stressful bad experience much less painful.

I am giving one star because 0 is not an option. I called Wednesday to get pricing for a dye test and made an appt for friday between 12-2. They were already more expensive but were able to do it the fastest. I guess I know why they had availability. I called at 2 when I hadn't heard from anyone and go no answer so I left a message. I had to call back at 3 after no one returned my call to talk to Rich? HE said he would get in touch with the tech and call me right back. I had to call him back at 4 to get an update because still no one could be bothered to call me. He then has the tech call me to tell me they got held up at the other job and weren't going to be able to make it and that they wouldn't be able to reschedule until Tuesday. Do your self a favor and find someone else. WORST customer service ever, I'm glad I didn't let them do the work.

Kwiatkowski Plumbing was excellent! One morning I came downstairs and smelled sewage, only to discover that my sewer had backed up into my basement. I prefer to use smaller, local companies over the larger ones so went to Google and found them with a litany of great reviews! I gave them a call and with a day they had come out, eeled out the drain, wiped up any mess made and were out the door all within under two hours. The technician was courteous and polite and no mess was to be found when they were done.

I'd recommend this company to any one of my friends or family. Great service and the price was absolutely reasonable for the services provided.

**RIP OFF WARNING** FREE ESTIMATE AFTER RIP OFF ""INVESTIGATION"" FEES Repeat customer of K Plumbing (can you believe it?!?!!). Had a clogged toilet, water dripped from ceiling where toilet sits. By the time the plumber arrived, the toilet was no longer clogged but had him check out the toilet/pipes well aware that I would be paying for the $60.00 ""SERVICE FEE."" The Plumber opened the trap door to look at toilet pipes and concluded that water had gone over the wax seal of toilet, that's why we saw a leak come from the ceiling to the first floor. He then proceeded to look under the sink, WHICH WAS NEVER ASKED TO BE DONE, and recommended we get new pipes/drains, whatever. Because he had to open the trap door to look at the toilet pipes, and he had to shine a flashlight on the ""corroded"" pipes that I needed to replace, I was charged an ""INVESTIGATION FEE"" OF $65.00. Basically K PLUMBING CHARGED ME $125.00 FOR AN ESTIMATE. $125.00 for a service call with NO work done. Oh wait, I am sorry, I should mention K Plumbing was generous enough to give us a discount since we were a REPEAT CUSTOMER, we were ONLY CHARGED $118.00. WE GOT A SPECIAL DISCOUNT AND ONLY HAD TO PAY $118.00. Still have NOT signed or initialed contract that states I was told upfront of a ""diagnostic"" and ludicrous ""investigative"" charge. WILL NOT BE USING EVER AGAIN. COMPLETE RIP-OFF, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I have placed a call to the owner and have yet to hear back. Bait and switch.

They seemed like nice guys when they first came and quoted me a price for some work. But then they didn't show up when they said they would. Eventually they came and did the work but since they came late in the day they could not finish that same day, resulting in me being without gas service for an additional day. In the end they told me that the job was ""way harder"" and they were going to charge me triple (yes, TRIPLE) the quoted amount. I paid them the quoted amount. I will never use them again.

This company is not interested in new business. I email'd them about 4 weeks ago, didn't hear back. Then called and finally spoke to the plumber who was supposed to call me back. That was 3 weeks ago. Never heard from him so called today and the woman who answered the phone was very short and basically said nobody would call me back until Wednesday. Don't waste your time calling this plumbing company.

Oh my God, this company is awful! I came home from being away for work for a week and my toilet clogged on the second floor and was POURING water into my kitchen. I called my husband and he came home and called this company and no one could have cared less. The woman said there might be someone to come out maybe that night, maybe the next day. She said she would have a plumber that was out on the road call us. Well 2 hours later & still no call. In that time we had called a small plumbing company we had seen a day or two before and he came and was wonderful and fixed the problem!
