Needed a hot water heater after mine died suddenly. I first tried the big box store that sold me the current one, but they kept giving me the runaround and had no clue when they could fix it. These guys are simply the best.

I recently had my kitchen countertops redone and called Ken to fix the plumbing job that goes along.
The entire project had several issues and delays like last minute delay in granite installation, in correct size of the hole, me having ordered wrong replacement parts (more than once) and very specific requirements of my RO system.
But Ken and Vinny were very patient and understanding of the issues all along. He came to my house promptly without any delays each time and did a perfect job finally without charging me much.

Lastly, the team comes well covered with regards to Covid safety and cleans up after the job.

Reached out through Yelp and got a response within an hour. The owner came by that morning to look at my project, and texted me an estimate within minutes of leaving my house. Recently has Kenny & team uninstall and replace a new dishwasher & oven. Was skeptical having service work with a newborn in the house during COVID, but Kenny and team complied with all requests including wearing masks and taking extra precautions understanding our concerns. Very professional, very reasonably priced, and were in and out in an hour & half. Plan to use them for any future plumbing needs and would recommend to anyone in the MetroWest/Middlesex area.

Ken is great. I called to request service on my boiler (which was not producing heat or hot water). He was fully booked for the day and was not able to come to the house to service it. HOWEVER, he walked me through the resolution over the phone and we got it working again in about 3 minutes. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!

While our 1900's home has lots of charm, I'm not a fan of boiling hot water on the stove turn of the century style to ensure my dishes are sanitized properly... After getting the run around from another plumber (who will get another review all to himself) for an entire week, I was desperate to get the hot water to my kitchen sink working again. Since I'm new to MA, I started with google and then checked Yelp reviews and settled on two companies to call. Both I spoke to were fantastic and Kenneth Wood Plumbing and Heating won since they could come out the next morning. Ken (senior, his son works for him too) gave me a window and arrive during that time with an assistant. Very personable and quick to assess the issue and get to work. They were able to take care of the whole situation and clean up everything in the area they worked in 30-45 minutes. I genuinely appreciate when people take their jobs as seriously as I take mine and want to make the best use of everyone's time. I also had him take a quick look at the hot water heater and he gave me some pricing for when it's time comes as well - which is not only quite reasonable, but he also let us know about the more efficient tank less options and rebates available for them as well. He knows his stuff and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone in the area and if we need a plumber again he's going to be our first call. Price was totally fair and we are very happy with the work!
