Joy L.Called them to see if they could schedule an appointment to install a water heater we purchased and was flat out told no. They will only install water heaters purchased from them so they can warranty their work- this means to me that they just want to make the money off the water heater too. They didn't ask about the model I bought or anything. I don;t need their warranty, the unit comes with one. I now have an appointment set up with another pluming company that isn't as greedy.
Called this outfit to fix a small leak in my basement. I have an older home that has a shallow well pump in the basement. The pipe that comes off the pump to the pressure tank developed a small leak and I called to see if someone could come out and tighten it up. I was put on hold for a few minutes while the receptionist consulted someone ""in the back"". After a few moments, I was abruptly told ""we WON'T do that"". Imagine my surprise when a Buisness flat-out tells me that they REFUSE to do a job. I wasn't told ""why"", but I'm assuming it was because shallow well pumps are no longer code. Now, I did not ask them to put in a new pump, just tighten a connection on an existing pump. The house was built in the early 1930's. Ever hear of grandfathering? Won't ever call them again.
