On 06/03/20 I called Kurt Bohmer's plumbing in the evening. I spoke to the owner Kurt and I told him the issue I was having with a water main leak from the valve. Kurt told me he could have someone come out but it would be past the ""Free estimate "" hours but if I could make it to the morning he would have someone come out. On 06/04 Daniel came to my house looked at the issue and gave me a fair price. I decided to use Kurt Bohmer's plumbing and had Daniel come back. Daniel did the work very professionally and communicated with me on what the job would need. Daniel completed the job in a timely manner and even gave me a cheaper rate because he was honest that I didn't need this one particular part. I appreciate honesty and it goes a long way with me. My experience as a whole with Kurt Bohmer's plumbing has earned them my business from here on out.

As part of a home purchase, my spouse and I paid for a septic system certification. As coincidence would have it, we were at the house the very next day after the certification was completed for additional inspections and at that time we noted that there was no soil disturbance whatsoever to suggest that a septic system had recently been inspected. What's more, since the home was in an estate the company that provided the certification would have had no idea where to excavate -- which should have made for a lot of time digging to locate it, none of which was evident on Memorial Day weekend of 2017.
Fast forward to a year later. I had high hopes based on the positive Yelp reviews that Kurt Bohmer's service would be better but after they completed the pump, they were not prepared to send a camera down to verify the condition of the septic tank -- which is part of what we requested prior to scheduling. After a few phone calls, they offered to return the next day with a camera; however, what never added up then or now is that they excavated only the effluent side of the tank and since it was filled with liquid there was no real ""camera"" work to speak of. Nonetheless, they insisted on charging several hundred dollars more for having brought a camera and dropping it all of eight inches below the lid. On the solids side that was pumped, however? Nada. (I could be wrong but having paid for the tank to be pumped, one might expect that both sides would have been pumped. And with only two adults in the house, how is it that the liquid side was to capacity in just 24 hours -- particularly in light of the fact that the house has a gray water system to reduce how much wastewater enters the tank?!)
The end result is that between not one but two area companies I still have no idea if the 40+ year-old concrete septic tank is in good shape. Much of my yard, which is on a slope, has since begun to sink and while there is no issues with slow drainage in the house or surface moisture/liquid, the area directly above the lid has sunken so much it has broken a nearby path along the back side of my house (safety hazard). The only thing that came of my attempt to have the tank inspected was the discovery of a hole in a lid, for which the previous homeowner had simply covered it with a concrete paver. If that wasn't bad enough, the technician said it wouldn't hurt if the liquid side took on dirt due to the broken lid -- so he covered it back up the way he found it. I was told by the technician with the camera, who was the same individual to pump it the previous day, that he would call when he found a lid replacement but he never did. Since a competing area company that performed the Septic Cert didn't even know where to dig due to the house being vacant that means two area companies that perform this service are about as honest as, well, crap.

Highly Recommend. Beau came out last minute to pump our septic tank and was awesome! So friendly and helpful in every way possible. Very professional. Great price, great service, amazing staff!

Steve the plumber was awesome, but the company admin was supposed to send me the copy of the paid invoice and it is yet to come.
I had water filter and descaler installed for the whole house. Steve was thorough with the job and completed the work within a day and under budget.

I can't tell you how thankful,I am of this company. Natalie was very helpful over the phone. Beau and Enrique were my servant agent they offer options and let me choose how I wanted to proceed. I'm very happy with the service starting from the minute I call to the end of the job. No need to look for any other plumbing company. Bohmer's Plumbing are Very helpful, attentive, caring and wonderful company would definitely recommend!!!! Thank you Natalie for all your help much appreciate!

I called this company to tighten a part I HAD BOUGHT for my water connection to my refrigerator. I was told on the phone they would pro-rate the $150 since it was a very small job. It took 10 minutes and I had already pulled the fridge out for the plumber. ""Steve"" was busy talking for most of that 10 minutes. Then I was charged $150 period, nothing I could do. Contacted their office in writing, no response. (Jan. 24, 2020)
Neighbor used them on a Saturday a week before they were charged $300 to unplug a bathroom tub drain. Told it was twice the price because it was a Saturday. Still didn't take one hour. Be warn, they are not honest and they don't respond to complaints.

I am writing this review because I received exceptional service from technician Beau.
He was prompt, had great explanation, safety conscious and took a the extra time to troubleshoot my problem. Much appreciated it and I hope when you call for service ask for Beau.

I recommend Kurt Bohmer's Plumbing to everyone, and was very satisified with the service(s) they provided. The person answering the phone, was very efficient and quick to send someone out. A huge thanks to Steve, who looked at my home from the outside, not more than a glance, and already could tell me the plumbing map of my home. He was confident, gracious, knowledgeable and very efficient in fixing my hot water heater issue and replaced it the same day. He checked a drain issue I had with my pool, which I appreciated, because that was in addition to the water heater problem, and not planned. In the event of another plumbing issue, I know who to call. Wonderful experience and staff. Many thanks Steve ( :

We used the Yelp app to request quotes from several plumbing companies in regards to a broken faucet in one bathroom and a broken valve in another bathroom. Kurt Bohmer was the first to contact us (within one minute) and had a plumber give us a quote the next day for free. The first cost was $1000 which we agreed on but after doing work he took $300 off the price because he knew a easier way to fix one bathroom. That was a nice surprise. There was a issue getting hot water at first but we called him and he showed up right away to fix it. I recommend this group because they give you the price up front and won't try to add anything to the cost afterwards. The worker was prompt and considerate of our personal space. The customer service representative was kind and personable. The faucets work great now and we feel much more comfortable working with plumbers! Nice job Kurt Bohmers!

I waited for several hours for them to show up. They finally called and said they would be here in twenty minutes. They called twenty minutes later and said they had an emergency. They said they could not make it until the next day. I called the company and they said they would call me in a few minutes and give me a time frame. They never called. I will never use them again!!! They obviously don't value customer service.
