EDIT 1/31: Well...after a nice phone conversation with owner Kurt Bohmer, I decided to give them a chance to make amends (see below 1/30 for my first impressions). Bohmer's crew as promised started work the next morning right at 8:00am on my backyard drains; Mr. Bohmer himself came out to assure me the job would be done correctly. They have a high pressure water jet and camera system to clean and inspect the drains. Unfortunately the bends in the underground pipe prevented the technicians from completely clearing the lines of root intrusion, so there is some improvement in drainage but not 100% clearance yet. I will have to dig up and clear out the pipe of roots at some point, weather permitting.

I admire the crew's dedication and commitment; they worked in the pouring rain and lightning to get the work done! When the weather improves and I clear the roots from the pipe bend I will call them out again to do a final cleanup and inspection of my lines. Thanks guys, you rock!

(FROM 1/30) Absolute worst customer service. Called Monday for an appointment for my backyard storm drain problem, scheduled for a Wednesday appointment ""between 8:00am and 11:00am."" 11:00am Wednesday, no plumber. Called at 11:02am, they said ""they were overbooked and wouldn't come out at all today."" Not happy. Asked to talk to a boss (a supervisor I assume) who apologized and told me a technician would be pulled from another job and would be out in an hour and would offer 10% off the job. Well, now it's 1:00pm, no status phone call, no apologies, my day is completely shot and I have no plumber. 10% off of bad customer service is no service at all! If I could give a negative star I would! Gee wiz, thanks for wasting my time, guys!

Septic Nightmare

We purchased a home last year that was on a septic tank which was new to us. Well the one thing we dreaded was if the septic ever backup into the house as we were told horror stories from our neighbors. We had planned to schedule an inspection after the first of the year, but things didn't go as planned. One afternoon while the kids were showering, we heard water running downstairs that shouldn't be. To our horror, the septic backed up and flooded the bathroom and hall. What a mess.

We called several people to come and they all found ways to express they didn't want to work.

The next day we call Kurt Bohmer's team and they told us they would take care of the problem the same day! They gave us an arrival window and this is the only ding, they came over an hour late.

Jorge and Johnny were the techs and they were GREAT! They explained everything as they went through the process and always gave us options to resolve the issues and educated us (by us I mean me) on properly taking care of the septic system to avoid these issues going forward.

We were so impressed with the level of service that we had them complete some additional plumbing work for us of things we wanted to change but haven't gotten around to.

Definitely recommend them.

We called Bohmer's Plumbing for our two most recent plumbing service calls. What a difference! Over the years we had tried other local plumbers with varying degrees of disappointment. Our calls to Bohmers were handled very promptly and professionally - turns out both calls were handled by Steve Harris who arrived when he promised, evaluated the situation quickly and accurately and made the repairs in far less time than we expected AND for less cost than we anticipated. We also received helpful suggestions on preventing future plumbing problems. Steve's integrity and cheerful nature represent Kurt Bohmer's Plumbing very well.

True professionals! We had toilets that backed up at our place of business. Four suites! They were prompt, courteous and quick at solving the problem. They even suggested that we contact a water remediation company to deal with the wet carpets due to overflow so that mold doesn't build up. I will keep their information should I get a problem at home. The price was extremely fair as well. I paid a great deal more for those ""smell good plumbers"", who did less.

So glad I decided to find a new plumber. Tim, from Kurt Bohmer Plumbing did not give up on our problem. No water pressure in the bath in our master bedroom. Could not use the shower. It took a while but after trying several methods of increasing the water pressure, Tim found the answer. Also, the faucet in our kitchen had the same problem. He fixed that as well. Tim is really the miracle man. His expertise in his field has save us $$$. Thank you Tim...You are absolutely the best.

I had a great experience with a terrible problem. Our mainline was plugged on a late Sunday afternoon. A good friend recommended Kurt Bohmer's plumbing and I'm so glad I contacted them. Tim, the plumber on call was fantastic, very friendly, extremely professional and knowledgeable. I know they're in the business of providing this service at any given moment, without any prior notification, but his attitude and response was so wonderful and comforting it took much of the stress away from our predicament. He said he would be at my house within a very short period of time, and actually arrived within 20 minutes.

He immediately went to work and in about 30 minutes completed the repair and left everything cleaner that he found it. He had all the necessary tools (and I know they're supposed to), but how many times do people show up unprepared or with the wrong or missing tools.

Well, I must say that I'm obviously very happy with the service and completion of the job. I very highly recommend Kurt Bohmer's Plumbing and their employee Tim.

There was water leaking from somewhere near the water heater and Kurt Bohmer's was the only company that was willing to come out right away. The technician quickly found the leak and repaired it almost just as quickly :) He was very friendly and informative. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Kurt Bohmer Plumbing. I had previously used their service and had a pleasant service call from John and the problem was resolved. This time the problem was in a different area of the house. Tim O'Conner came out and quickly resolved the problem. Tim's personality, knowledge of the plumbing business as well as company history and the patience to answer my plumbing questions and give professional advice, puts Kurt Bohmer Plumbing at the top of my list as well as requesting Tim again.
