I have used Kurt Bohmer for years and always been happy with them. This week, Brett stepped up and fixed an issue that has been plaguing my in-law's house for as long as I can remember. Considering the pipes are 60 years old, I was expecting the worst when it came to cost, but they quoted me a very reasonable fee and were up front as how things could go. Let me put it this way, I was expecting at least $1500.00 more than the bill actually came to. What I have always liked about Bohmers is that their technicians communicate well, and they get the job done when they say they will.
I appreciate that kind of customer service.

Kurt bohmers certified my septic tank when I bought my house and kept them on a yearly schedule to pump and maintain the tank. For seven years they pumped it. Then when I had to sell my property the buyers requested a new certification, we had Bohmers certify again, long behold they said they did not deal with ""escrow"" so I paid them directly. When they were doing the job they told us they could not certify as there were some parts missing from the tank and pipes etc.,. So they quoted me an additional 2500-3500 to fix the problem which they said was from poor maintenance. Poor maintenance? They were pumping the sh*t out once a year, more often than required. Why did they not see or notice or let us know ahead of time that this problem was there? How did they certified originally if this problem was there? So we had to hire another company who fixed the problem for way less! Flash forward after end of escrow they were paid by escrow and also had charged my credit card. Bohmers are a bunch of scammers specially Kurt and his wife who answere the phone rudely every time and kept saying she was the owner. Owner or not the way they handle things was shitty to say the least. Nobody is their district should use bohmer -nobody!

Unbelievable. Not only did they continually try to push a total re-pipe instead of just fixing the problem, but then tried to charge double for a simple fix when we refused. We got the job done by an actual reasonably priced and responsible plumber (Patriot Plumbing from Palmdale) who got the job done in a timely professional manner. And then next? We got double charged on our credit card by Kurt Bohmer. Never. Again.

We just moved into a new house and needed a new garbage disposal and a water line to our fridge installed. I called on January 3rd and spoke to a woman who said a tech would call me. The tech called later that day and said he would call me the next morning to let me know what time he would be here. I waited around until about 3pm and after not hearing anything I called. He said he was sorry and ""to be honest I forgot about you"". I get it, it was a Monday and I'm sure there were bigger emergencies to deal with. He came out the next morning. I told him I had a Zoom meeting from 11-12. He said not a problem he would come at 1230. He ended up showing up at 1130.. right in the middle of my call. He just said oh I'm early. He replaced the garbage disposal and said he would have to come back to do the water line. By that night I did dishes and water was pouring out from under the sink. I called the office and explained what was happening. They told me it would be an after hours fee to come out. Umm no. They had the tech call me and he walked me through checking a couple things. There was an issue with the garbage disposal itself but said he might be able to jimmy-rig it for me to work, it just needed a stopper. He came the next morning to fix it. He didn't charge me (the only reason for 2 stars) He said the water line would be the following week. By the following Thursday I didn't hear anything and had to call AGAIN. He said they got busy and would again call me the following week. We got tired of picking up water jugs and bags of ice. I ended up calling another company who sent someone out the next day and installed while he was here. It has now been over a week and I STILL haven't received a call back. I understand people have emergencies with Plumbing but it has been almost 3 weeks for a 2 hour job.

Beau and Armando did a phenomenal job!! I told them wrong where the lid was, but I they found it anyway! What would have been frustrating for the average person was no sweat for them. In addition, Beau gave me a nice lesson about how septic tanks work and showed me with a flashlight the different things - very interesting. Then, they noticed the seals were not great, so they covered the lid with trash bags before burying them again to prevent dirt from getting in. Beau also pointed out that my lids were only 4"" thick and recommended I not park a vehicle on them as they may not withstand the weight. Wealth of info, great work, great attitude and took all Covid guidelines very seriously. Very pleased!!!

Have used this company several times now all with great experiences. Recently we had an issue with our water heater. Spoke to Steve over the phone who advised us what part we would need and where to order. He also told us it was fairly easy to install and would save us money doing it ourselves. He offered to walk us through installation over the phone or even come out for free to help since it was easy. My wife was able to do it herself no problem. What's funny is we had called another company prior which quoted us $600 to fix it for a part that ended up costing $20. Steve is great and will continue to rely on this honest company.
