Our garbage disposal started to leak on a Saturday night. We were having a party Sunday afternoon so really needed to be able to use the sink that day. Called them Sunday morning- no problem with coming out that morning. He had a new disposal on the truck so was able to install it on the spot. The new disposal is a lot better quality than my old one and only cost about the same to have it installed. Reasonable fees for a sunday emergency call.

I've used Kuchar Plumbing twice in the last 6 months and I've found them to be honest, reliable and very responsive. I had an outdoor faucet come off in my hand (on the weekend!) when I went to turn it off. So rather than shut off, it proceeded to spew water out all over my yard. After quickly shutting off the water at the source, I called Mr. Kuchar. He was able to arrive quickly to my house and install a new faucet so that the water wouldn't continue leaking. I've called other plumbers in the past and they've made me wait for days at a time because they were """"busy"""". I've never felt like that with Mr. Kuchar. He's responsive and attentive to his customers and I appreciate that! I'm not someone that typically writes reviews positive or negative but Mr. Kuchar's service and quick response and friendliness have made me a long time customer. I'd highly recommend him!

Mr. Kuchar is an honest plumber with old fashioned work ethics = working hard and getting the job done right. My house was built in 1977 and unfortunately back then the piping they used was galvanized metal and became rusted out. I had a HUGE and NASTY back up into my tub and toilet!!! The smell was disgusting! The next day his team was there beginning the digging process under my house. They had to deal with horrible weather conditions. I now have pvc piping and have not had a single problem . Definitely my plumber from now on!

My husband and I had previously used this plumber when our toilet was leaking and he came exactly when he said he would and fixed everything professionally. However, we recently called again because our kitchen sink was leaking. He came to look at it on Thursday (my husband's day off) and told us we would need a whole new faucet because the old one was a cheap no-name brand. He took apart the faucet, but he didn't have the parts to do it the same day and said would come back the following Friday morning. He then cancelled on us last minute because of scheduling issues. He said he could come on the next Monday morning. He didn't show up or call that morning. We called and left messages for two days and finally reached him on Wednesday. He said he was very sorry and would come at 9AM the next day (Thursday). Again, he didn't show or call. Then he finally called almost 2 hours later and said he would require two hours to do the job. We explained that this wouldn't work since my husband needed to leave for work and we had explained our schedules in advance. He is now rescheduled for tomorrow (Friday) and I really hope he comes because he really does do good work... when he shows up.
