I had an emergency plumbing problem, and called this company to come out. Now I live 50 miles from them, so I understand there's going to be some travel charges involved. However, they charged me $80 an hour plus $1 a mile. The total travel charges were $240, and the repair itself was $86.

In my opinion, you can charge an hourly rate or mileage, but to charge both is cheating your customer. That's all there is to it, pure greed.

Leaky pipes cannot be planned for the one day a week this company is willing to not charge a travel fee.

I essentially paid for this employees entire day, for a 20-minute repair.

I had no issue with the quality of their work, but to charge three times the repair cost, just to drive back and forth, in my opinion really speaks to this company's moral ethics, or more specifically lack of.

I will never, never use this company again.
