K and R Plumbing is by far the best in the business. I have used them twice now and each time they have gone above and beyond to help me out when I have had plumbing emergencies. The first issue was our water heater in our garage which leaked and ultimately flooded the wall connecting our garage to our kitchen. I was distraught because we had out-of-town guests coming in less than two days. Robert squeezed me in and even though it was very late in the evening he made a point to get me a temporary water heater. He even took the temporary water heater back during the week we were on vacation so we would not have to pay for it. Yesterday, we discovered a leak in our front yard mainline pipe near an area where our neighbor's plumber had recently re-routed one of their pipes. I called Robert and Crystal this morning and they agreed to squeeze me in again last minute. No other plumbing company has ever done this for me. When his crew identified the source of the leak it was confirmed that the neighbor's plumber had indeed nicked our pipe when he cut through the neighbor's old pipe. Because of this discovery we were able to get the neighbor's plumber to come back to take responsibility and repair the damage they caused. Too bad my neighbor didn't use K and R plumbing as we wouldn't have had this issue in the first place! Again, Crystal, Robert and his team are the best in the biz, as far as I am concerned and I am a tough critic! Thanks guys!!!

Since moving into a new house, I have used K&R several times for various plumbing issues. I have always found them to be honest, reliable, and very reasonably priced. They offered the best price by far compared to 4 other plumbers. Not only do they do good work, they are honest. I called them when my water heater broke. Rather than take advantage of the opportunity, Robert suggested that I use my homeowner's warranty to find a plumber that was covered in my policy. K&R came today to fix my RO water filter and didn't even charge for a service call! I will continue to rely on K&R for my plumbing needs and have referred them to my friends and family.

Robert, Crystal and team were very professional and provided quick quality work. First time they came, they helped diagnose why our pilot light was not lighting. Job was quick and got us by for a couple weeks, but when the problem worsened I called them back.

It was an urgent call and they fit us in next day. Two of Robert's team (forgot the names) helped us with the removal and install of the water heater. They replaced the old supply lines and brought things to code. The install was clean and quick. It might have helped that our tank sits outside too.

Final price quoted was little less than home depot and other in the area. Overall, I'm very pleased with them and would probably go back for future work as I like supporting local businesses.

It is 6:53 on Friday night. K&R had promised to fix our broken sprinkler line this week and they made sure it was done. Not only did they work late on Friday, they charged less than the original quote because the problem wasn't as bad as they anticipated. They fixed the problem without breaking my concrete! I can't recommend them highly enough and am so happy to have found an honest and reliable plumber!

When it comes to the service industry, it's really hard to find reliable, reasonably-priced companies who aren't trying to pull a fast one. Finding a reliable plumber is a crapshoot, and it seems like there's countless stories of people getting swindled by companies. When my water heater broke, I was dreading to find someone who can fix it. I didn't want to deal with dishonest companies who want to overcharge or try to sell me something I don't need. I decided to go on Yelp and see what's in my area. K and R came up as one of the few plumbers in Torrance with 5 stars. After reading some reviews, I decided to give them a call. I talked to Krystal, who was very courteous straightforward. I was able to get an accurate quote over the phone and someone arrived at my house in a few hours. They were very professional and was able to assess the problem and fix it in about half an hour. I probably could have saved some money if I fixed it myself (there's only a few parts that can go wrong with a water heater), but when it comes to appliances hooked up to gas lines, I rather have a professional do it. They also fixed a leak in my main water line free of charge (had to tape and tighten the hose bib), so that was nice of them.

I'm glad that I gave K and R a chance. They are honest people and really do mean it when they want to win your business for life. I'm definitely convinced and will call them again in the future for plumbing needs.

If you're hesitant about which company to call for your plumbing problems, don't be. Give these guys a chance to win your business. If it's your first time, make sure to use the $10 off coupon on Yelp; I forgot about it when paying.

Did a nice job, price was good, cleaned up before leaving, called ahead, arrived within the expected time window. Easy to deal with. Highly Recommended.

Our only toilet was sort of working, draining slowly. On the phone Robert advised me to just replace it because early 1990's American Standard toilets were not very good, and the toilet technology has really improved since then. The old toilets have a 2"" down pipe, and the new ones have a 3"" down pipe, so everything whooshes through that much easier. And the new ones save water too. So I ran to Home Depot & bought a Kohler Cimarron for about $200 as he recommended, they put it in for $150. All 3 guys from K&R were quick, competent, and polite. I am really impressed at how much better this one flushes. Also fixed the shower valves that were dripping a little. All good, just needed the packing nut tightened, no extra charge. And they hauled the old toilet away for free. So happy to have a toilet that totally works great every time! So happy that I forgot to use the $10 coupon I had, but you know what? They were so good & provided a great value, that I didn't really mind. No wonder these guys stay busy! Highly Recommended.

Saw the great reviews on Yelp and had to give this a try, given the limited time I had with a pinhole leak in my garage. I'm so glad I called - Robert came within an few hours and got it done within an hour. I previously tried doing it myself with some ""quick fix"" items at the local home improvement store, but after two failed attempts with it continuing to leak, I had to get a professional. And professional he was - answered all my questions and even pointed out a few others things on my water heater without question. Genuine guy - appears to have a wealth of knowledge. A customer earned for the future!

Robert and his team were extremely professional and showed up on time. Got a call from his office as well before they arrived. We had a big sewer job and had scheduled two days with him. However seeing that is was going to rain on the second day, he made arrangements to finish the job on the same day. His team worked through the whole day and got it done.

Very professional, very easy to work with and great quality work. We had tried several other plumbing companies in the last six months, but they were always very average.

Robert is very professional and does great work. We have used him for multiple jobs and would use him again in a heartbeat. He just did our water line for our refrigerator the other day. We will definitely give his information to our friends when they need a plumber.
