This review is long overdue. I thought I had a slab leak and KP came to check it out with his high tech equipment. He determined it was just hot water running through the pipes (no leak). Two other different plumbers weren't sure what the problem was and wanted to charge me to break down walls so they could find out. Best part was that KP did not even charge me; not even for coming out. Thank you KP!

Nothing but good things to say about KP Plumbing! 1st of all, the owner Kevin responded to my inquiry within the hour. To save me time and money, he gave me some quick advice before coming out. Compared to other plumbers I reached out to, he seemed experienced and knowledgeable, and I've only described the leak problem to him via messages. He was also very clear on how much the service call is and what it'd entail.

He fitted me into his schedule the very next day. He was responsive and on time. He determined the leak and gave me some sound options with the next step.

I had wet carpet in my hallway. It was only in the center of hallway. Kevin arrived when promised (same day I called). He immediately got on the job. I had thought it was a slab leak from a drain. Kevin was so enthusiastic, it was a joy to see him do his stuff. He located the leak, in a wall in a bathroom. Why it didn't present itself in the bathroom is a mystery to me. Kevin absolutely knows what he is doing and is persistent to find the problem. Kevin explained my options and when I gave him the go ahead he promptly made the repair. The cost was more than reasonable. Kevin had been to my home a few years ago and made a repair on the main line. I whole-heartedly recommend Kevin of KP plumbing. Kevin helped replace an 11 year old Bradford White water heater for us that had a pilot light that would not stay lit longer than a day. The water heater closet is located outside in the back of our townhome. The closet door wasn't flush with the ground; rather, the door was about 10"" off the ground which made accessing the panel to the burner assembly difficult (if not impossible, without removing the heater). He installed a brand new Bradford White and customized a stand to allow the assembly to be serviced more easily (e.g. flushing the heater should be a piece of cake now). Kevin was super communicative and super cool. His pricing was competitive, particularly since he was installing a Bradford and not a cheaper Rheem. Installation took a couple of hours and they were very respectful of the property. Would highly recommend KP plumbing - Kevin is our guy now. Thank you very much!!

[High Level Full Story Below]

In conjunction with my water mitigation project, I was looking for a plumber that can not only fix our leak, but also fix our bathtub since our inspector failed to realize that our waste and overflow pipe was never connected to the bathtub. It was hard to look for a plumber because the prior we dealt with had 5 stars on yelp but ultimately screwed us over. Thankfully, we met Kevin.

Kevin came out for an inspection and immediately I noticed how passionate he was about plumbing. You can tell he was a quality plumber when he started to teach me what he would do and why he would do it this way. He never talked bad about any competitors and most importantly, he knew his worth. He mentioned that ""he wasn't your cheapest"" plumber, but after considering the horrible mess we experienced from the prior plumber and the fact that our home is our investment, we considered this option. In a nutshell, he recommended that we opt in for a full Repipe and Redrain of the house. Now this was going to be a HUGE project and you could only imagine what a pretty penny this was going to be, however, looking back after project completion, we were glad we took the leap of faith.

The process was as follows: 1st 3 days were from a different contractor that demo'd all of the necessary tile and slab concrete to access the drains. Then his buddies from JetSetters drains came in and helped remove all of the old rusted galvanized drains. Following the removal, the team installed new Poly SDR pipes where needed then repoured the concrete. After the drains were installed, he followed up with a 2 day repipe in which all the old copper in the home were replace with Uponor Pex (industry leading standard). While this was taking place, he also was able to redo our water main and shutoff valve.

Overall, the project was a huge success and I can sleep happily knowing that our plumbing system and drains will not cause us any issues for the next 50+ years. I am so glad we met Kevin and his team. He not only is trustworthy, but knowledgable, humble, funny, communicative, and patient. He is our forever plumber and hope he can be yours too.

Great service, had a slab leak. Kevin found the leaks exact location, rerouted new pipe around the leak and saved me a ton of money!
Kevin had to cut into the drywall. He did it with little damage as possible. I was able patch the wall easily. Kevin saved me time and money. I highly recommend KP plumbing to anyone who wants to save money!
