John and his team were great! He replaced two hard-to-reach cut-off valves with ProPress fittings and did an excellent job for a very fair price. He was thorough and direct and pleasant. For my future plumbing needs, I will definitely call Korona first. I highly recommend them.

After dealing with Lowes over water service repair, (and STILL trying to get our money back from a water heater they never delivered), we urgently needed a local, honest plumber. Korona came to our aid within the hour of leaving a msg. (we called about 7 in total). I was visiting from California to assist my brother with some medical issues and THIS wrinkle happened.

John was over here rather quickly (extending his day) and after sizing up the situation, we made arrangements for him to come back in the afternoon the next day, water heater in tow! It was a tricky job. He did what Lowes said was impossible: the switching out of a tankless to a large tank water heater, in a rather dated Alexandria home. He had to make a few tweaks, but he visualized it and got it done.

John said the job would take four hours and it was just under that, as it turned out. That included complete clean-up. It looked better than when he arrived! He was so kind to my older brother, who has dementia and can barely speak. I hope he knows how much that meant to us!

He explained everything to us fully during the assessment. We recommend this company as EXCELLENT! My regret is not posting this sooner. The job was done in June of this year.

We had a mystery leak causing bubbling paint down our bathroom wall. I found a recommendation for John Korona and Korona Plumbing on our neighborhood Facebook group, so I called them, and I'm so glad I did. John himself was able to come visit the same day and gave a reasonable quote for the work that would need to be done. I asked how soon this could take place, and he was able to come and do the work the following day.

He arrived, did excellent work, explained to me what was going on, what needed to be done, and what did not need to be done. One of the other great things about this company is they do not just do the plumbing work and leave. They can also do the drywall, painting, and other aspects of a given project. This was really convenient so I didn't have to shop around for another company to do the different parts. Someone else from the company arrived the next day to do the painting, and everything was done! Most streamlined resolution I've seen in a long time!

He came back quickly with the parts and walked me through what else needed to be done. The repair looked great and works perfectly. He was on time and let me know when he was close.

Our water heater broke over the weekend. After trying and failing to fix the problem ourselves, I contacted several plumbers on Saturday night. John fixed the problem on Sunday. He's completed several plumbing jobs at both our home and office, and all encounters were professional, on time and successfully and easily completed. I can't say enough about these guys except that they probably need to charge more for their services. Professional, outstanding service, and quick turnaround. If you want someone on top of their game please contact John Korona. They redid the plumbing for my bathroom. The pipes looked like a poor man bathroom. Nowadays, I'm proud to have my guest use my bathroom. This was my first major plumbing job, so they guided me with precision to the design, material, and etc.
