Kohl's Automatic Sprinklers did an incredible job installing my new 6-zone sprinkler system. I moved to Washington last year and didn't know anything about the weather other than it rains all the time. When I bought my home, I never thought I would have to water the lawn; was I ever wrong! I decided to get sprinklers installed at the peak request time and came across Kohl's after an exhaustive search. Jeff quickly came out and provided an estimate for the project and then work started about a week later, right on time. The workers took great care during the installation to not damage my lawn and they kept the work site clean during the process (never any open trenches or dirt on sidewalks at the end of the day). The system was installed and fully operational in less than three weeks from the initial site survey. I worked with Jeff and Keri and they were extremely helpful and responsive. The team at Kohl's did a fantastic job and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Communication with getting service scheduled with this company has been a total nightmare. Originally emailed them on June 23rd (today is July 12th) about an irrigation system. After 5 different email attempts and 4 different voicemails from their initial response that they could setup service I've heard nothing.
I guess it must be nice to be so busy that you can just not provide any customer service and pass on business.
This business is far from professional and I would recommend a company that has the ability to communicate with potential customers.

The worst customer service experience I have 'ever ' had with a business ! Never answered my emails or phone calls , gave them 'the benefit of the doubt' and tried to work with them but said my estimate was thrown in the trash . I felt like I had to talk them into accepting my business , very unreliable !

Thank you for the great service you provide. This is the third season that I will enjoy not hauling hoses around my yard due to the great system that you and your team installed! My water bill has been reduced considerably during the grass watering months, and in addition, your service is just the best. I just had one of your associates here to do the spirng startup. He couldn't have been nicer and when he found a break in the line, he fixed it on the spot. One thing that I have noticed from your team is that when they come to the house, they ring the doorbell and then step back down my front stairs so that I am not confronting someone right outside my door. It is just such a polite thing to do, I had to mention it. I appreciate that you take care of things when appropriate with the shut down and start up....it makes it all worry free for me. When I received my bill today for the spring startup that was in addition to my prepaid amount, I was astonished that the repair bill for the break was so minimal. He had to dig quite a hole and so I do thank you for fixing what someone else broke and doing it for such a reasonable amount. I am a very happy customer

I've been a customer of Automatic for about thirteen years. Never had a complaint about them. They do good work and always on schedule. I would recommend them.

I use Automatic for my sprinkler maintance and my back flow testing. They have a deal if you use them for multiple services. They are very accomodating to my schedule. The office personnel and work crew have been very friendly.

These guys installed my sprinkler system and have maintained it for several years. Up until this year I've been quite happy with them and have recommended them. This year at start up I wanted them to check a problem with my rain shutoff system They looked at it said it was fine and charged $35. Well I had to change the rain gauge which didn't help. Then call rainbird who told me the problem was the controller which must be replaced. The woman on the front desk was very rude to the point I found someone else to fix it at a cheaper rate. Then when shutdown time came they scheduled it right when I was to go to a commitment. She said she wouldn't change the time and the technition couldn't call so I could run over. Again I had a feeling she didn't give a damn that I was the customer. Well I'm not a customer anymore.

Automatic designed and installed an underground sprinkler system for us over 5 years ago, and they have maintained it (winterization,springtime reset/repair of heads if necessary,and backflow inspection which they send for us to the city water department) since that time.The fees charged are reasonable (and well in line with other companies). There has never been a problem with the sprinkler--or the people involved. It's a highly reliable, competent organization.

I couldn't agree more with Jeffrey L.'s review. ""Office Diva"" Tanya hung up on me twice as well.
We had been customers for 12 years -- including expensive installation of a sprinkler system and lighting several years ago -- and had an annual contract for startup and winterization services. Since it was Nov. 2 and I hadn't heard a peep, I called to find out when they were planning to come out.
They wouldn't be servicing us anymore, Tanya told me, because our account had been sent to collections. Then she hung up on me.
The account was sent to collections because we never received any invoice! It was paid in full immediately when we received the collections notice, and I called Automatic to apologize for the oversight and explain that we hadn't gotten any of the invoices they said they'd sent. It was the first time in all our years of doing business that we had overlooked a payment. At the time, they acted as though everything was fine, but now they were refusing service.
After arranging winterization services with another company, I called back to complain about Tanya hanging up on me. I asked to speak with her manager, and she told me she was the manager. I asked her why she had hung up on me, and she replied that they were not going to service our property and she was not going to waste any more time talking to me about it. THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN.
I want to make sure as many people as possible know what a horrible company this is to do business with. Avoid at all costs.
At no time did Automatic telephone requesting payment, as Tanya claimed in her ""review."" I am a real (former) customer who believes others would benefit from being able to read about my real discontent without having it shunted off as a filtered review.
