I'm not even sure what to say. Literally. I called Knight Plumbing today to check to see if they received the request from my warranty company. This was the actual conversation:
""Hello, Knight Plumbing""
""Hi. I have been having a plumbing problem and was just calling to see if you've received the paperwork from the warranty company because I haven't received an email back from them yet. Just wanted to double check.""
The woman sighed. Heavily. Her tone dripped with annoyance. ""Well, I don't know who you are, or who your warranty company is."" She was obviously disgusted I called.
""Do you want me to give you the information?""
""No. We're 3 weeks to a month booked out and those warranty companies don't even ask. They don't even ask! They just assign random people and expect us to handle it.""
""Ok but isn't that something you sign up for with them and have a contract saying that?""
""No""
""Ok so I'm just trying to find out what I need to do now.""
""Well, the first thing you can do is...when you call somebody and ask them if they got your claim is to GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION"".
""I was trying to. You literally started screaming at me from the time I called.""
""I AM NOT SCREAMING. I AM NOT SCREAMING! GOOD LUCK WITH THAT STUPID WARRANTY COMPANY! I AM NOT SCREAMING!!""

I gave this one star only for the tech Shane who fixed my water pipe very quickly. Its customer service is worst. Charged me $525 for the service, I called them and was told it's $450 after 10 percent off, but the girl told me that she would call me back, 5 minutes later, she called me back and told me $525 was the correct price after the discount. I was shocked because $525 is the price what Shane told me before he started the work. I paid right away via the phone, but I didn't get my recipe after at least 2 weeks, so I called back and the lady on the phone was cold attitude and not patient at all. Nerver hire them again before they hire professional.
I had scheduled a 2 hour block with Knight Plumbing to review an issue. The plumbers never showed and didn't inform me of any issues which might delay them. I followed up and called them-person on the phone didn't know where the plumbers were. I mentioned that my time is valuable too and that I understand situations come up but that when situations do come up to simply communicate them to me. The person then started becoming defensive and argumentative-I then hung up. Am moving on to someone else.
We had a bidet we wanted to install on our toilet. This company was very eager and quick and gave us a reasonable bid. They had it installed same day! The customer service was especially impressive.
Cliff C.A very nice young man came out to fix our sink. It was the flangers that was leaking. We understood it was covered with our home serve policy. The young man came in with the part and said this isn't covered. I asked how much and was told $225.00. I said no way I will do the job myself. He went to his truck to leave. I was headed out to get my tools and he ran up and said he was wrong his boss said it was covered. ??? not sure if it was a mistake or a ploy to get more money. It took him less than 10 minutes to replace the parts. ???
Kelsey R.Called Knight Plumbing after being quoted by another company for main sewer line replacement. They ended up quoting us literally HALF the price as the previous company we worked with. They got us scheduled in quickly, started work on time, did great quality work, and the entire team was respectful, thorough, trustworthy, and got the job done right away on our 80+ yr home. Absolutely recommend them for any job large or small (especially older, east/north end Boise homes)! Thank you for a seamless and quality job well done!
DONT USE!! Had a flood in the basement the guy came out to snake 3 minutes into the job he said his snake broke and he had to go to Eagle for a part! We live in Boise. An hour and half later he came back. We asked him if they could come run a camera through the line he said on Monday a person would be by 8-11. No one showed! They finally called on Tuesday decided to give them another chance. They told us they would record the footage of pipe and give to us and mark out the pipes in our front yard. 2 guys showed up they smelled so bad of body odor and cigs they were super sketchy, shaking and talking a million miles an hour. They didn't wear any booties, and were all around terrifying dudes. They did not give us any footage or mark the pipes. We called back and the woman on the phone was so rude and started verbally attacking us. Do not use this company they are terrible and their crew is super sketchy and smelly we had to air out the entire house. Seriously call anyone but them!!
Amber H.Knight Plumbing is the real deal. These guys came out right away-- even though it was the weekend and they fixed our issue right away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing services.
Robert B.Had a minor flood in closet in bedroom in basement from sump pump. I was in a panic and thought it was going to be an expensive problem. Knights showed up about 30 min after I reported the problem which was wonderful and the technician looked at it and didnt really do anything to inspect it. He said he had no idea whats wrong with it and they would need to remove it and disassemble to find the problem and then reinstall, but it would be cheaper just to remove and have a new one installed. He went outside and spoke to manager and came back in and quoted me $1,900 to do the job that night. I thought that sounded crazy and called a friend who reminded me about a secondary insurance program I have called American Home Shield, I called them and they said it should be covered and got me in touch with Abrao Plumbing. Mike came the following Monday and actually touched the pump to inspect it, a simple unplugging of the second cord and directly plugging it into the wall made the water cycle. He then pulled the small plug off the top of the pump and saw a valve was caught against the wall and jingled it free and next thing you know it was back to normal working order. A small home service fee was all that was charged by an honest, ethical company. I will always use Abrao after having this experience and would caution anyone thinking about using Knights plumbing based on this experience. They were basically going to rob me for $1,900 to fix a pump that wasn't broken....shame on you!!!
