Bruce the owner and Albert are about as arrogant they come. No return calls or communication. I have been on their schedule for Thursday last week and we had a winter storm come through so I understand that being on the road is dangerous. Albert told me that he will be back with me this week and didn't. So I called and then left a text message. Kneese has been doing all my work for years and I refer them to anyone that needs a good craftsman plumber.
As of yesterday I asked Albert the crew will be out by this Friday and was told that no the people with out power first. I explained to him that I have been on the schedule for over a month and you have been putting me off due to having only 1 pump man.
Albert replied to me with a text yesterday. Actual Text. (Yes some people here have been without since last Thursday if you don't understand that then find somebody else)
I called their office and talked Michelle and she was shocked. She told me that she will have Bruce the owner call me. (NEVER HAPPENED).
I called this morning and was told by Michelle that Bruce was not in and again told that she will have Bruce call me.
Following this I received this text from Albert. (We will no longer work for you as per owner of kneese plumbing).
I called Albert and Bruce was there with him and he put me on speaker phone and I heard Bruce in the background say we do not work for you anymore and then was hung up on.
Moral of the story is no mater how faithful you are to this business you are just another customer that they do not care about. You are replaceable.
Communication goes a long way with me all it would have taken from Albert is a phone call letting me know that they need to add-ons issue and we will get out there when we can and that he will keep me posted. I should not have to chase someone down to get work done when I have been doing this for over a month.
I am also a business owner and believe with out a customer you do not have a job, if a Curtis an inconvenience you do not need a job.
Side note- Kneese did work for me over a year ago and forgot to bill me for their work done about 3,400.00 work. Being honest I called Chris to get a invoice and he was shocked that this had not been done. Now I could have just never brought it up and kept the money but we all work hard and money is hard to come by. I guess being honest to someone is not important and that my money is not good enough.
Please see the attached screen shots of the communication text between Albert an myself.
Spend your hard earned money to those businesses that appreciate you.

I called to have a water test done for a well. I spoke to the tech that said he would call me on Monday to set up an appointment time. The following Friday we decided to call someone else to do it since we hadn't heard from him all week. When I got to work on the following Monday there was an invoice on my desk for the well test. The tech had gone out to do the well test without any notification. not a call saying they were going. Not a call saying they were done. Nothing. Now we have to pay for two well tests! Bad business.

Chris and his crew are very professional and have always done great work for me in the past and today. I just bought a new ranch and needed some things changed out and fixed. They came in and did everything I needed and fixed all my home inspection list. I highly recommend them for all you plumbing and well needs.

I had this company install a solar well pump 4 years ago. I called them recently because pump stopped working. They pulled pump, repaired it and returned it to service. It did not work. They did this 2 more times and said I needed a new pump. I purchased a new pump $1600 and when installed it did not work. Their conclusion was I had a dry well. Knowing that this was untrue I called another service out. They said the new and old pump didn't work because of the sloppy work that Lone Star did reinstalling pump. Power lines were knocked, float valve was in wrong position, electrical connections were loose. I really did not need to purchase a new pump. Stay away from these guys if you want a properly installed unit.

Very disappointed that this company sent out two men to replace the fill valve in a commode. Whole job took 15 to 20 minutes with a minimum charge of 1 hour for each man came to $130 plus parts. I understand the minimum charge, but never should have sent two men to do the job that one could have done. What a waste. Will have to consider other companies for any future work.

I recently had a hot water heater leak and called Kneese. They have been reliable, quick to respond, and competent. Not so much this time. They got the warranty information wrong, so they called back after the work was done, wanting to charge me extra for their mistake. At least they did me the favor of saying they wouldn't do business with me again.
