Worst place ever we are a business guy came here to snake out our toilet said he had to reset the toilet and take out our clean out to work on it. Turns out clean out was never opened and was charged extra. I have another company here today doing the work that KJI plumbing could not handle. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The work was done on 5-9-18 called them on 5-29-18 and said I had to pay full amount for them to come out again. Never again with this place!!

First of all, I generally do not write or give reviews on Yelp. This time I deemed it very necessary.

I had an issue with my water heater. The manufacturer identified the problem and shipped the part next day. I phoned KJI plumbing and spoke to a wonderful representative named Gina. I explained my need for plumber to install the part under the ""Warranty claim"". Gina got right on in and had a very nice, CLEAN and knowledgeable plumber named James to come to my residence the very next day.

Upon installing the initial part, James detected a vague gas odor coming from the water heater. He phoned the manufacture on site and came back two days later to install the second part.

No lag time, friendly service, knowledgeable, clean and punctual service is what I received from this company. They ROCK!!

Thanks KJI Plumbing

My hot water heater was leaking on a Wednesday evening, so my home warranty company, American Home Shield, put this plumber on the project when I called them to file the claim. I was away from home (on business) at the time, but my housesitter called them on Thursday morning and the first bad thing that happened was that they said they had tried to call the previous night when the job was assigned to them, but got a busy signal. Not likely, since I had gotten through to my housesitter and she had also contacted an independent plumber to drain the tank to minimize water damage in my garage. Then the second bad thing was that the soonest they could schedule an appointment was the following day. She called first thing Thursday morning, they made an appointment for Friday between 1 and 3pm. She made a point of being at my home at 1230pm on Friday, and waited patiently until 3pm, then she called the plumber to ask why they hadn't shown. The dispatcher said he was on his way, so she waited until 330pm, then she had to attend to other houses, so she had to leave. I called KJI at that point and told them this was really bad since I really should have hot water in my home. I was hoping they'd say they could send a plumber at whatever time that evening was good for my housesitter, but instead offered an appointment the following Wednesday. That's when I found out that they also don't work weekends. I got pretty angry and cursed at the dispatcher, at which point she (of course) hung up on me, but the bottom line was that they didn't show any sign of concern for my situation and didn't seem to have any interest in resolving it in a timely manner. I subsequently called the warranty company and told them I'd need someone that could work on Saturday, at which time they put a different plumber on the project. They, too, didn't come through, so it's just a sign of what type of contractors these home warranty companies associate themselves with!

Had the warranty company call and they said this liar mike told them I had a hole in my wall when he got there which was a complete lie!
This liar made the hole and now he is saying it was there

There's a million plumbing companies out there, go find a better one!

Be careful with this plumbing contractor. I had a house built and they did the plumbing. They incorrectly installed the expansion tank for two water heaters. This caused the relief valves to leak continuously, which caused the water heaters to operate more often wasting gas.

They charged me to replace the two relief valves but the leaking continued. KJI charged another $800.00 to install a regulator (which should have been included). Relief valves still leaking.

Finally, the co-owner, Kirk, correctly evaluated the problem and sent a plumber to correct it by re-installing the expansion tanks properly at no charge but It still cost me a $1000.00 for the prior unnecessary work.

Do not hire these people! My mom went out of town and a pipe busted under our mobile home.... KJI sent out a worker named Randy (the owners brother) he refused to crawl under the mobile home due to spider webs, he yelled GOD DAM IT at me because I didn't have a flashlight or drill gun for him, he kept lifting his shirt up, gave me an outrageous price when he didn't even know what the issue was because he wouldn't go look at it... I was very uncomfortable and scared... I called to complain and was told it's his job to crawl under and find the problem and was told they'd call back with options on how to resolve the issue... I never got a phone call back! If you need plumbing call AV PLUMBING their prices are amazing and they are professional and very kind and fast working! They fixed my water within 20 minutes!!

Aware everybody!
this company does not know what they are doing they over price sell jobs to customers that are not needed just to take your money had bad experience...the only way I found out was because I had avplumbing come to give me an estimate and they got the job done without over pricing and trying to sell unneeded jobs...good thing I listen to my intuition or I would have been out hundreds of dollars.....NEVER WILL CALL THEM AGAIN

Do not call this company! On the 3rd of April we had them come out to clean our sewer lines, which they did at a clean out we had at the side of our house. We had to call them on the 24th of April because our plumbing started backing up again. When I went to the side of the house where the clean out was located, I noticed sewage all around the clean out, because they did not replace the cap and when the guy showed up, he said it would cost another $145.00 (initial cost we paid on the 3rd of April). I told him to leave. No guarantee, they can't even stand behind their work for one month. They give contractors a bad name.

We had always used KJI for years because they were always super prompt, professional and priced very fairly. I'm not sure if there's been management or ownership change recently, but they have fallen very short on the past two jobs. In a nutshell the plumber assigned to the job was flaky...late, no show, not returning calls and price quoted seemed unusually high. The receptionist had me calling the plumber directly to schedule/reschedule which I thought was a little unusual. Maybe they're subcontractors? Anyway, I gave them one more chance on this latest job. Same thing, plumber had to reschedule for another day after they told me he'd be here in the morning (Water main leak is not something I want to reschedule). We got a second quote within two hours which came in 40% lower, plus the new company started the job immediately. One more thing, KJI said it would take them 4 hours time @$100 per hour labor. The other company just finished job in 1.5 hours (one man) Sorry KJI, but we're moving on. Best of luck to you. I hope you pull it together.
