We hired Cardigan Kitchens and Bath to do some remodeling in our kitchen, and we couldn't have been more pleased. At every phase, the workers were polite, neat and professional. Their attention to detail was second to none. We absolutely recommend Cardigan and would not hesitate to use them again!

Bowie, Md. Cardigan installed a new toilet. Once they installed, it was crooked, so they had to reposition. Unfortunately, soon after the toilet began leaking into my basement, luckily I caught it before it ruined my carpet, but it ruined the ceiling and they had to patch the ceiling. Unfortunately they never returned to finish smoothing out the ceiling or painting the area :( Will not use them again.

This review goes back a couple of years but had Cardigan design and remodel family bath.
Selection was adequate and showroom helpful.
Actual demo and install was adequate although delayed from original timeliness.
Frustration and deducted stars from demand for final payment prior to completion of all work, when finally came to walk through what was missing and show that bath was complete the shower head came out of the wall and had to have additional pipe work done. Additionally, I paid and requested a bathroom vent fan to be installed. Fast forward a year and I had to get a new roof. As I was going through that process the roofing company explained Cardigan has installed the fan and routed it to soffit. I have no soffit vents, so the line was blowing into solid wood in my attic (AKA no ventilation happening).
They were not contacted for my next two bathroom remodels.

I called Cardigan and left a message on a Monday. Before the end of the day Cardigan had returned my call about a leak in my basement ceiling. My call was returned by a master plumber who pretty much diagnosed the problem over the phone, and scheduled a repair visit for first thing Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday, The repairman called prior to arrival. Arrived at 9am. My problem was solved by 10am for a reasonable price.

In addition to the outstanding service, the repairman was patient and more than knowledgeable enough to answer all of my questions as to why the connection to an outside hose bib would start leaking and then stop.

Had them switch out an old bath tub to a stand up shower with tiled walls. They were quick, professional, and overall great to deal with. Very happy with their work!

Jim and Kim were fantastic to work with. We just had our master bathroom redone and it looks FABULOUS!! They stuck to the timeline and repaired the icky rotted part of the subfloor easily and quickly. Everything looks absolutely perfect and I couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely be using Cardigan when it's time to redo our kitchen!

The owner Jim Shultz is a rockstar. He spent 18 minutes on the phone with me. The best part about this experience is he knew that 3 minutes into the conversation we were more than likely not going to do business on this particular project. He took the other 15 minutes to give me recommendations on what I needed to do to assure that my project was done right. Definitely will be using him for other projects.

I can't say enough positive things about this place. They do exceptional work and they are very professional. Cardigan is a family owned business that has years of experience to back them up.

I initially found out about them because my parents had their bathroom completely remodeled by Cardigan and they did an outstanding job. I wanted to have a back-splash installed in my kitchen, so I called and scheduled a meeting with someone to discuss the measurements and pricing. We discussed my options, I chose my tiles and we set a date. The workers came out to install it and they did an excellent job. I have a large wall that the back-splash went on, but it only took a few hours to install. It was a rather reasonable price for that amount of space.

They have a stock room with millions of samples and they give free estimates. This is not your corner mom and pop shop that will do a job for you for $100 but trust and believe that when they do your job it will be done correctly, professionally and thoroughly. I even received a follow-up call from my initial point of contact to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY HOME REMODELING PROJECTS!
