We had an upstairs water leak that was coming through the downstairs ceiling and bathroom vent. It looked like it was going to be an expensive repair. A crew of two showed up on time, wearing masks and even brought my newspaper up from the driveway. Turned out an upstairs toilet tank was over filling and water was escaping through the handle housing. They assessed the problem, which wasn't an obvious one, and had it fixed in less than 45 minutes. The bill was was very reasonable and a big relief since I anticipated a whopper. Also, I discovered water in our downstairs guest room the night before and they were perfectly willing too come out that night. That wasn't necessary thanks to the advice I was given to stop further leakage. I've used them before and if I run into any plumbing issues again, I'll use them again.

This entire process has been disappointing for us. They underestimated of cost associated with the project, they didn't pull a permit, they didn't use the right color sealant on the pipes and now we have failed inspection. Instead of apologizing or rectifying it right away they blamed it on us.

I've used Kinnett several times and have always been very satisfied. That is, until today. James did a wonderful job replacing the diverter valve and spray hose for my kitchen faucet. Then I asked him to tighten a handle on the faucet set, which he did as well. This took all of 3 minutes and an Allen wrench. Was SHOCKED by a bill of $225 for 50 minutes worth of work! And this was just for labor, as I already had the parts. Never got a detailed invoice either. This is so disappointing, as I ""thought"" I had someone who could get the job done and at a fair price. I clearly got hosed and I won't be calling them again.

I have used Kinnett Plumbing a few times for pretty large jobs at my house. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with their service and professionalism. The reason I'm giving Kinnett 3 stars is the fact that I'm not a fan of their fee structure - they charge the client based on an amount PER HOUR rather than PER JOB. I haven't seen this done a lot by contractors. Although the two times that I've used Kinnett, they were very efficient and got the job done ASAP, the fact that they bill the client more money if it goes over an hour gives me a little pause when I select plumbers next time. I prefer to have clarity over what I'll pay rather than uncertainty and prefer the contractor to take their time to get the job done properly rather than rush to get it done in under an hour so the client doesn't get billed more.

I had an issue with a clogged storm drain flooding my basement at a newly purchased property in Arlington. Based on previous positive reviews, I got in touch with Kinnett Plumbing to see if someone could come out and troubleshoot my issue. Kevin Kinnett came out himself, within a few hours of our initial conversation, and quickly concluded that my drain could not be snaked with the traditional methods and would most likely, have to be replaced. He was very upfront in his cost estimates and amount of time it would take to do the work. He had a team out there the next day and my drain and surrounding apparatus were replaced and new concrete was poured. I was really grateful (and happy) for the work that Kinnett Plumbing did for me. They were very professional and extremely efficient. Awesome results!!!

Had a leak in an upstairs bathroom which is no fun and super depressing. Water coming through our kitchen ceiling! Kinnett sent Jack out within about five hours of my call. I was really impressed with his ability to diagnose and troubleshoot the issue with minimal cutting of our ceiling drywall. Price was excellent. Problem was located and addressed. Technician was super friendly and smart. Kinnett also used a notification app that kept me updated on arrival times. Will definitely use this company for plumbing issues in the future.

Great job! Jake came out and took care of a broken dishwasher and gave me great advise. I am a new home owner and he was able answer a lot if my general questions. I will have plenty of jobs over the next year and would certainly call them again... Wonder if I can ask for Jake? Good work is hard to find and they guys certainly provided good work .
