I had a non-emergency slow drain in my bathtub. The plumber cleared it out with a snake. The whole procedure took less than fifteen minutes. He charged me $140 cash, while telling me he was doing me a favor with that price. I'll let the reader decide if he did me any favor.

I had my main line sewer backing up into my basement. Guy came out... Said he fixd it. This was the 14th of November. On the 15th of December, I noticed it backing up a little bit, into a corner of my basement. I called and had something set up for the following day, a Saturday. By Saturday, my whole basement was flooded, with a couple of inches of standing sewer water. Around 2 something I called to see when I would have someone out. The lady on the phone (who later claimed to be the owner) started getting rude with me, telling me she had tried to call me and I never returned her phone call. Long story short, she had been trying to call my husband's number, who is deployed. I tried to tell her numerous times that I had never given her his number. She tried to tell me at first that it was the number I gave her, then, it was the number on the caller ID (he is DEPLOYED WITH HIS PHONE). When I pointed this out to her and told her she must have been looking at the invoice she claimed she had never looked at that. (While on the phone setting up the appointment, she had asked ""is this a good number to contact you back at?"" I assumed she was asking about the number I was calling from. The ONLY way she could have gotten his number was from the invoice. I'm ashamed to say I let her get the best of me after her numerous lies. I yelled, right along with her. When she wouldnt listen to a word I was saying I hung up on her. When I learned she was next to the only one that could help me because the job was so big, I called her back and tried to make nice. She was extremely rude to me, yelled at me AGAIN, and hung up on me. Then she wouldn't answer my calls. Oh, and one of the calls she had been trying to make?... Was to inform me that I was outside of my 30 days, and that they were going to have to charge me. They would be able to ""take SOME off, but not a lot because I was outside of my warranty). I was, but by a DAY when I had called her. I now have standing sewer water in my basement that won't be taken care of until Monday, by Roto Rooter. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to them for business.
