I called to schedule and appointment and was quoted 39.99 for the service. I asked specifically that a sump pump video scope be done and asked again about the price which was quoted 39.99. The technician arrived on time and was pleasant during our conversation of the issues. He then went to collect payment which was $250.00 not the 39.99 he said the woman I spoke with sometimes got that wrong. I let him know that we had a deadline for a home inspection and could he please send the qoute and video over by 8pm. He said it would be no issue so then 8:00pm came around I texted to see if the quote and video would still be coming. He was very short and rude about how the timeline was not feasible and he was trying to spend time with his family (I would never have texted if the 8:00pm time hadn't previously been agreed to). He sent me a text quote which was very different then the number discussed at our review and then in the afternoon when the email with video and quote was sent it was again different then the 2 previously stated numbers. I would NOT recommend this company.

King Rooter sent out Brian to look at a broken outside water facet. He found a loose screw, and that was all it took. I insisted he charge me a service fee to make the trip, and take photo's of the now working facet.....
Good on this guy ; the last two ""estimates"", they wanted to charge me $350 to $400 dollars to replace......

After another plumber decided to flake, King Rooter plumbers came as promised, were careful in my household with masks and gloves, and fixed my shower. I would highly recommend and plan on calling next time I have plumbing needs.

Lucky I even gave them 2 stars. Basically what a irritating experience so far. And by so far.. the work still isn't done yet. This was a 3k job the quote/plumber said was ""an easy job"" and would only take him one day.

As scheduled he (Anthony G)came out the first day April 23rd around 10am on a Wednesday alone, worked and left saying he was unable to finish and would be back at 10am the next day April 24th. Was unable to finish again on the 2nd day and said Couldn't be back till Tues May 5th at noon. To which he was a no call no show, we texted him that evening, he said he can come out again on Thurs May 7th, to which again he was again a no call no show. We tried to call & text him But he was not answering his phone or texting back. We Called company Friday May 8th and they said you should of called us and not the plumber and scheduled him for Saturday May 9th from 2-5p. He came with a helper and left saying it was finished, but upon inspection.... he hacked through two 2x4s (see pictures) and never plumbed in the toilet to the drain pipe. Just left a hole in the floor with the toilet ring. (Oh by the way they billed/ charged our bank account the full amount On April 28th?!?!)

We then called the company Monday May 11th to update them the job was still incomplete. They scheduled him yet again to come out today May 13th and even called this morning at 7:30am to say the tech says it's complete and to ask why he's coming out .. Really!! So the phone caller made Monday was for?!?! We informed them YET again as to why And she said she would let him know and then called back at 2:40pm. 40 min after his scheduled time to Say he was busy on another job and will not be available till this Friday May 15th...

So far That's 3 weeks! And Questionable work on the drilled 2x4s...poor communication, poor customer service!!!! And what company bills you out before the job is even completed? Or says it's done and you missed a whole drain pipe to a toilet?

I'm sure the others are correct in there star ratings and experience but I had to give an honest review because I feel so many companies now days try to buy off people to take down negative reviews or give higher star ratings for there Better Business Bureau rating when they screw shit up.. Well, this review is not coming down so don't bother asking me. And I will update all of you as to how this issue was taken care by the company and what was up with the hack job...Stay tuned.

Update 5/22/20 After posting this review we got a call the next day that the plumber would be out to complete the work. The final plumbing was completed. Due to no contact we never did get a chance to talk to the plumber while he was at the house about the hack job on the 2x4's. After talking with my BF we decided to just replace the 2x4s our self and just not deal with this company anymore. We were already behind 2 weeks because of the delayed service and didn't want to waste anymore time or energy. Then sat we got a thank you card in the mail from the company with a 50% off our next service with them....lol

I highly recommend King Rooter. After an installer from a local appliance store caused thousands of dollars' worth of damage to our home, the insurance company sent in a Master Plumber. Jeff was prompt, courteous, and did the job RIGHT. After the nightmare we had I can honestly say that having Jeff in our home put my mind at ease. He assessed the situation, explained the problem, and double checked his work. I only take the time to write reviews for businesses that deserve them. King Rooter can be trusted to get the job done correctly.

Do not use King Rooter & Plumbing. I called them to come and give me an estimate for some work I needed done in one of my bathrooms. The tech they sent was a nice guy, but his work was very sub-par, especially for the price. He did not fix the problem that I described to him and actually left my bathroom in a worse state. The tech never got an estimate signed and charged me $550 to come and replace a $40 part. I spoke with the owner, Jeff a couple of times on the phone, but we could not come to a an agreeable resolution,. He is a fast talker and spends more of his time telling you how much of a master plumber he is than trying to reach a reasonable solution. Use them at your own risk!

I called King Rooter to replace a broken sump pump that turned up on inspection before we sold our house. They came out and replaced the sump pump...told us the price was in the upper $900s. The hubby asked what that includes, and the installer had thrown in a ~$300 extended warranty. (a bit shady if you ask me.) We said ""no thanks"" because we were selling the house the next week. Still, $600s seemed high to us, but we paid it because we needed it fixed before the home sale. 5 days later...we showed up to inspect the house before the sale the next morning, but we found water ALL OVER the basement. (We'd never had water in the basement before, even with a broken sump pump!) The sump pump outtake pipe joints had apparently been knocked loose when the work was done, so whenever it kicked on with the recent rain, it sprayed water everywhere. Our buyer had us over a barrel, and made us replace all of the carpet and repair the damaged baseboards/ drywall... to the tune of another $2000. The owner of King Rooter owner wouldn't accept any of the responsibility, and gave us some BS excuse that we didn't buy the warranty, so it was our responsibility. I'll bet a court wouldn't have seen it THAT way. This is the definition of bad business.

Prices were disclosed before work started and were very competitive. I received a call ahead of time to let me know the plumber was on his way and then a secondary text to ask if I was ready for their arrival. Friendly staff and hard working! I didn't have time to remove the toilet before he began working but he was very careful and didn't damage it at all. I'm very happy with the outcome! We had our floor drain jack hammered and replaced, our shower was updated to one handle instead of two, and a new anode rod was put in our hot water heater all for about $1700.

Update: If I could give this company 10 stars I would. I'm on a tight budget and needed to cut some corners with the new pipes, including requesting that they didn't install a shower cartridge or trim since I could do that myself. When the plumber left we lost hot water upstairs and when I called to have someone come back out, I spoke with the master plumber who said ""We see this in older home where it needs a cartridge in the downstairs shower to regulate the temperature upstairs because all the pipes are connected. If that doesn't work please call me back because we want our customers happy."" It totally worked. I'm so thankful he walked me through it on the phone.

Great experience with King Rooter and plumbing. They were able to accommodate my schedule and replace my toilet on a Saturday. Cliff K. was friendly, professional and got the job done efficiently. Highly recommend them and will use them again.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE, very KNOWLEDGEABLE, and COMPETITIVE PRICING! I first found King Rooter & Plumbing on Home Advisor and noted their many and high ratings! i received a call right away and they were VERY QUICK to help me out, EVEN IN A TIME CRUNCH. I needed an estimate on repairing an offset that was discovered in my house inspection by the buyer. Jeff provided an estimate on the same day and also was able to talk me through the options and process. While i chose not to hire (instead asked the buyer to fix), I 110% RECOMMEND!
