We had a bad water leak to the point where we had to shut the water meter off. We had someone detect where the leak was and mark off the area on a Friday before we started calling around for plumbers who could repair the leak.

King Plumbing was one of the plumbers who replied quickly and worked with me via text to get more details and provide a quote. They originally said they could have someone come a week later but after I let them know the severity of the issue they managed to organize someone to come the next day (Saturday morning) when they typically don't work weekends.

Michael arrived promptly the next morning and after I showed him around he got to work. The leaking pipe was outside under the lawn. He excavated the area and found the cracked pipe before replacing it. He showed us the repair, and the cracked pipe, and had us verify that the water was working inside the house before filling the hole back in. We were so grateful that he came out on the weekend and helped us get running water again so quickly.

The invoice process was smooth and reflected the initial estimates, which were much more reasonable than other quotes we received from other companies. We'll definitely seek out King Plumbing in the future if we have a plumbing issue.

Josh did an excellent job installing a kitchen faucet for me. He even went out of his way to make sure I got the right plug to match my faucet. I prefer going with a smaller company than the big guys. I think I get better, more personal service and I don't have to buy all the overhead for the big companies.

We recently discovered 1) a leak in our main water line coming to our house, and 2) that we needed to replace our in-house water shut-off valve and pressure regulator, so we got some bids. King Plumbing and another reputable company were about the same price, the third company wanted to put a whole new water line in, and told me it was dumb to just repair it (for a fraction of the cost) so he was out. Julie was extremely pleasant to work with - very fast on getting back to me - and she even recommended how we might save some money on the project if they were able to access the piping via a crawl space. And Josh came out to do the work. I had a leak detection company find the spot of the leak, and Josh had to cut the concrete and start digging. It took him some hours, and it wasn't exactly where the leak detector said it was, but Josh kept working at it, digging down about four feet, and he finally got it. He did the repair to the black plastic pipe, and made quick work of replacing the shut off and pressure regulator in the crawl space. He filled in the hole in the driveway and even put in forms and repaired the cement driveway to a point I can hardly tell any work was done there.

I never got hit up for more work, or extra charges, or anything unusual. Josh just simply and competently did the work. He hauled away the old concrete he cut out, everything was very clean when he left, and I'm happy to have found these guys for my plumbing needs.

King Plumbing sets a high bar for competing plumbers in the area for knowledge and customer service. I was in a bind, leaving soon for a 2-week Ireland trip with a leaking new water heater. My go to contractor who had initially installed it was on a nationwide travel adventure. With time not on my side, they immediately came out replacing the pressure release valve, initially thought to be the problem. Still leaking the next day, they refunded the charge for the part and labor, and pursued replacing the faulty heater with the water heater company. A couple days later, they came out, installed the new heater, and took away the old. Who does that? KING PLUMBING, that's who!

I am so happy I found these guys! After getting wildly different bids for wildly different scopes of work to fix my problem, it was such a relief to have Josh's no-nonsense assessment. He fixed the drain issues that had been in place for over a decade, as well as replacing all the galvanized nipples at each fixture in the house and installing a new kitchen faucet, and did it all for less than half the cost of the nearest bid. Bonus for me was that he was able to schedule my work very quickly. All the work was complete in half a day, and they left things clean and in good order. I would definitely call them again!

Incredibly unprofessional. Had to schedule the service week in advance to get the main shut off in my building set up. Started discussing the logistics and the company became really unhelpful and cancelled one business day before the scheduled appointment. Now I have to find a new company and re-schedule the whole thing. Insane, would never use again.
