On 11/19 my house backyard PVC pipe broken and water start leaking. I search Yelp and found King Kong Pluming. After text and discuss, the plumbers came in less 2 hours to replace the new metal pipe in one hour work. They are very professional and did a good job. Within few hours we can use water same like before. Appreciate King Kung Plumbing the good service.
King Kong plumbing saved the day for a very reasonable amount. We recently had our faucet replaced by another plumber whose attempt to fix the hot water pressure resulted in no water coming out of the faucet and they left the job at that. King Kong plumbing was responsive, did a thorough audit and explained the different options for resolving the issue and fixed the faucet. We were very happy with their service, value, and communication. Thank you!
Rob C.Hired them to replumb my older J-Town house with copper pipe. They were easy to work with and reasonably priced for the job. 5 plumbers swarmed my house and did the replumbing in 1 day (w/o the drywall repairs ... which I had them skip to keep the costs down). I did some intermittent monitoring, normal with any contractor, to make sure that the the full work scope was met - they were very responsive anytime that I pointed something out. I found two minor leaks a couple of days after they left, which they promptly came and fixed once I notified them. I did have the house prepared for them before they showed up, so that all of the plumbing was easily accessible. The only thing that I would do differently would be to include in my work scope that someone come out and do a full inspection of the job the day afterwards. Bottom line, I'd hire them again for the same work.
We had a leak in the main water line and the old steel pipe to the house had to be replaced.
Steven responded to my text and was on site in 20 minutes (Friday afternoon). His quote was very reasonable and he could do the work on Sunday. None of four other contractors I called would do the work over the weekend (other than put a temp line for later work mid-week). He was also the only contractor to mention having to mark the site and have PG&E check for gas line in the area. (that check was done on Saturday)
Between Friday and Sunday Steven was very responsive by text, so we finalized the choice of the pipe and the digging method.
King Kong crew arrived on time at 9 am on Sunday and were done around 12:30 pm. The work was done quickly and neatly, plus they showed me how to adjust the new pressure valve, if needed.
All in all, I will keep Steven and his crew in mind for my future plumbing project needs. Great service, value, and communication!
We hired King Kong Plumbing to fix the main pipe, the sewer pipe in my house, and the sewer pipe coming out to the city. It was a big job, and all work was done smoothly and nicely.
Steven and his team were honest and worked hard to fix it at a reasonable price. They have the correct license. They followed the proper process, like getting permission from the water company, and all were passed.
They also found another issue, such as a leak in the city's main valve, and handled it by reporting it to the water company. It was nice and cool.
Additionally, they helped us fix the water softener and promised to come again to finalize the water hose from it. Although it was not their primary job, I was impressed by their kindness and service.
There was a lot to like about my experience with King Kong Plumbing. I called King Kong and several other plumbers for estimates for a complete re-pipe of my house's sewer and water systems. King Kong came in with a (relatively) good price, but there was more to it than that. All of the companies came in pretty close on their basic estimates. However, other estimates had a lot of extras that upped their prices, and those extras (and a bit more) were included in the King Kong basic estimate.
Devin, who was the lead on the job and also the estimator, did a great job explaining my options and giving me confidence in their team's knowledge and experience. When they did the two-day job, they ensured that all the water/sewer stuff was working before they left each night, so I didn't have to stay with a friend or in a hotel overnight. They were able to make it a two-day job instead of a three-day job because they brought in a big team who all knew what they were doing and got right to work each day.
The job called for some fixtures to be replaced and, for no extra charge, King Kong picked up the parts for me and installed them, including a new toilet. They even gave me the receipts. That was really nice.
There was also a clear desire and effort to get the work done right and to make sure that everything was right in the end. There was one thing they had to come back for and they were here within a few hours of when I emailed them (it wasn't urgent, so I emailed, and they responded as if I'd texted or called), so their support, if I need it, looks pretty darn good. The only thing that could be improved is the clean up--each day, I had to clean out the sinks, wipe down fixtures, and vacuum, but I'll trade that for having two days of inconvenience instead of three days of inconvenience, and for the great work and the customer-centric attitude.
I had them replace my main drain line and add a property clean-out, and also replace an existing clean-out close to the house. It was quite a dig with the drain 6 feet under ground.
They did a great job. And they were also fast. Within a week of my initial phone call they scheduled the job (with permit) and finished the work in a day. The whole process was faster than I had expected.
They also gave me credit for an earlier drain line inspection that I had them do to diagnose the problem. Overall their pricing is reasonable.
I do recommend them. Would work with them again.
Super quick to come to us and great service, they had all the equipment and parts needed with them already so no extra trips required, awesome service!
Today, we replaced all of our cast iron pipes and a clay pipe that was difficult to reach which required some digging under the house. The job was completed in less than 1 day. They provided before and after photos. They left the job site as clean as it was when they arrived. I'm not a plumber but the quality looked great. I would recommend them for any job. We found them on Yelp and chose them based to their good reviews.
They subcontracted. The guy that was sent wasn't even king kong plumbing. He had a different card and invoice with different company.
