Arturo B.Worst company. Very unprofessional. They don't know how to treat people and are extremely rude.
This is the worst place!!! Try to avoid them at all cost!! My furnace wouldn't stay lit. I called about 3 different companies. Naturally, King's was the first to arrive. The technician, of course, stated I needed a new furnace. He got my old furnace started and then spent the next half hour trying to sell me a new furnace. When he saw I wasn't going to make a decision on the spot, he proceed to take out a device which he said detected carbon monoxide. After playing around with it for 10 minutes, he finally got it to start beeping. Then, he said "" yep, you need a new furnace"". I immediately asked why the other 6 carbon monoxide detectors I have in the home (battery and electric) weren't going off. He then told me his was very sensitive. I told him no on the new furnace. He charged me $85 to start my furnace and told me he was going to put on the receipt that he had disconnected the furnace. I gave him the money and he left.
The next day it would not stay lit again. I called a different company and all the furnace needed was an igniter. I had intended to file a complaint against King's with the BBB and the Attorney General, but I got really busy. I will still file a complaint with the Attorney General's office and file a complaint with every online review board.
Was worried about an aging furnace of course on a Sunday morning. Call King not expecting anyone to be available to come out the same day. Wonderful Giuseppe was at my door within 2 hours. He was not only very professional but also very reassuring and informative as well.
After thoroughly examining the furnace he gave me my options. Without any pressure I decided to go with a new furnace. It will be installed tomorrow. He was so accommodating with the installation time correlating with my work schedule. I had King replace our air conditioning unit on a very hot day 3 years ago and have no regrets.

My blower motor on my furnace went out on Thursday January 18th 2018. I call several heating companies on Friday January 19th 1 came out but they said that the furnace couldn't be fixed and had to be replaced at a cost of $3500. The other said they couldn't come out until Monday. King came right out and the Giuseppe told me that there wasn't any reason why I was told that the unit needed to be replaced. He said all I needed was a blower motor and that it could be done the next morning he also told me if I did want and new unit it would be Bout $1000 less the the other company quoted. He came first thing the next morning replaced the motor and was extremely nice and helpful with all my questions.
Our heat went out in the furnace. Called a few places and King Heating came out quickly to solve the problem. A + for quick response and A + for quickly solving and repairing the furnace. My issue is the charge to use sandpaper on a flame sensor - $275. $80 to come out and $195 for 5 minutes of labor to use sandpaper to clean the sensor.
Lived in the south suburbs since 1980, always used Floyd's but then they were sold to King. The guys from Floyd's were great. I'm a single woman and I always felt they were honest and didn't try to sell me a bill of goods. Now it's King and I just had my annual furnace cleaning. The tech told me I had a huge problem and needed 1000.00 bucks worth of repair so I wouldn't wake up on a winter morning freezing. I'm not working so this freaked me out because I don't have the money for that. Long story short--got a second opinion from another company. The technician not only checked everything but showed me how he determined the efficacy of the furnace. He also wanted to see the receipt and was disgusted because there was supposed to be cleaning and it was still dusty inside. I don't need all that work; the furnace is fine and he cleaned out all the dust, checked everything and said he'd see me in a year. I think service people or companies that try to take advantage of single women or elderly people are the scum of the earth. I will NEVER use King Heating again!
This was my 3rd season using King Heating for my pre winter check up. Each time they have given me a good price, sent good technicians and they arrived on time. They are respectful of my home by covering their shoes. I don't like to hover around them while they are working, but they have always been happy to answer my questions and explain any concerns. I like the peace of mind that everything is working well and will get me through the winter. I have always been happy with their service.
If i could give -5 stars I would. Called these people they quoted me a price for a part and a fix of my AC of $890 plus their $90 fee to come out. I called another company, the guy was out in 10 minutes, with the part and his 7 minutes of work he charged me $70 this place is full of thieves.
Barbara M.Our AC units literally died this season and we needed to replace not only the one but the second one, too. I not only got a quote from the company who we have used for our AC, Heating and Plumbing for years, I also went to the Yellow Pages to pre-screen other companies, narrowing it down to three others that were in our community area, good reputation/service/warranties, excellent product lines, and competitively priced. The other three sales representatives came by to present in an exceptionally timely manner, answered our questions and concerns very well. Though, Brandon from King, was exceptional in his presentation and knowledge. He was also extremely polite and as much as he wanted our business, as with the other 3, he respected our work and research of each vendor, the carriers they were selling, and the knowledge of each company we choose. He never down talked any of his competitors, especially since they all pretty much had the same products. We did not make any decision at the moment. Instead we did the ""Ben Franklin"" analysis and called each person back with additional questions. At the end, we chose King due to Brandon and also talking to his inside staff who would end up being of service to us from that point on. We could not be happier consumers. This entire company is top shelf and responds within moments. We did have a slight ""hic-up"" with one of the units installation, but with only one phone call, we had a technician over within hours. The follow-up is one of the best we have experienced, too. The original owner, I later found out, past away awhile ago, but the tradition of great service did not go away with the new owner. I recommend King to anyone. Thank you.
A long time customer, had them come to check out my AC units the usual maintenance on it. Their tech said everything was good and so the payment of 80,00 dollars was taken. Come back around one month later, the house was extremely hot, called them back to see if they could take me right away to check it out. They wanted me to pay another 89.00 for the service fee to come out again, and then the old 8:00 am to 12:00 appointment. I don't know about you ladies, but as a single mother and main bread winner I cannot stick around the house for 4 hours that's four hours out of my paycheck. I decided to call another company, I did the Peoples Choice, they charged me $65 for coming out, it was a freon issue, their tech also said that the unit outside was filthy and that king should have taken the time to clean it better.. Another good thing, ready ladies, I made an 8:30 am appointment on Saturday morning and they arrived exactly at 8:30am now that's service. I have decided to use the Peoples Choice company going forward, King remember 50 percent of marriages end in divorce in this country, which means there are lot of single mothers who have to maintain homes, who need fast and prompt and acceptable service on their A/C and furnace units. Not to mention all the money I spent because your tech could not do his job properly.
