I do not recommend this company they are prices are absolutely and positively ridiculous and I'm glad the guy called me before he even came to my house for the quote so he's going to charge me $431.55 to ride out my tub and $562.80 to ride out my bathroom sink. That makes no sense at all. That is absolutely freaking ridiculous. I hope that no one uses this company.

I had a service appointment for my furnace on Monday October 9th (Columbus Day). I made the appointment in September since I had that day off from work. I called the morning of my appointment to King and confirmed my appointment for that day at 10:00AM. They confirmed my appointment was between 12:00PM and 5:00PM and someone would call when they were on the way. Someone called at 11:30AM and although I was in the house missed the call and it went to voice mail. When I retrieved the message I promptly called them back. The person said that since I did not answer the phone the service technician went on to the next appointment. I asked if someone could still come today and they said no. I would have to make another appointment and the next available appointment was in December. I ask to speak to a Supervisor or Manager to discuss my missed appointment. Person on the phone said they were busy and would call me back. No one ever called me back so now I am submitting this review of how my day went with King Heating and their lack of response to customer inquires.

On September 18, I scheduled an appointment for King to come to my home on September 25, because my toilet was running; and water was leaking from the bathroom into my kitchen (my bathroom is over the kitchen). The plumber arrived, took the toilet up, tightened the screws on the trapway, and said if the problem persisted, I would probably need a new trapway which their distributor did not carry (which was puzzling since I own a Kohler which is one of the top toilet manufacturers). Within an hour of the plumber leaving, I called back and said the water is coming through the ceiling of the kitchen even stronger. He told me to call Kohler and order the trapway. So, I ordered the part from Kohler which arrived on Thursday, the same plumber arrived on Saturday the 30th and replaced the trapway and tightened the screws in the toilet (one was missing, which they also didn't have, so when I ordered the trapway, I ordered new screws). He had me stand in the kitchen while he flushed the toilet 3x to make sure water was not coming into the kitchen from the ceiling, which it was not. I went back upstairs and asked the plumber for a 2nd time (the first time being on Monday) if he thought we should replace the seal around the canister that is at the top of the tank. He responded no and told that replacing the trapway would stop the water from running in the toilet. Lo and behold, it did not! So once again on Monday, October 2, the same plumber came out and said he would have to go to Home Depot to get the seal (once again, there was nothing in his truck) and the cost would be $243.10. When I balked because this was part of the original problem, he called King, and they told me they could discount me to $190.00. REALLY? I said to fix it because by now I had a massive headache. While the plumber went to Home Depot to purchase a $4 seal, I called King to speak to a manager who was very nasty and kept telling me (3x) this was a different problem, which it was not...the plumber remembered me asking him about it on Monday, the 25th and Saturday, the 30th; he comtinued to go back and forth with me about IT being a different problem. When I finally said fine, just fix it, but I will just remind myself never to use King again for any of my plumbing issues. I have been a heating and cooling customer for years before King bought out Chicagoland Heating and Storage. So, after telling him I would pay the $190, when we hung up, he called the plumber and told him NOT to come back to my house because I said I would never use their plumbing services, so the plumber DID NOT. Mind you on the 25th, I paid $660 ($410 for him to ""fix"" the toilet, $250 to cut an area in my kitchen ceiling to make sure there was not a crack in the pipes in the ceiling, and another $99 on the 30th to replace the trapway THAT I purchased from Kohler. What professional (and I use that word loosely when it comes to the manager) has a hissy fit and acts like a child who says, I'm taking my toys and going home - you can't play with me anymore!!! Then tells a long-standing customer (Chicagoland Heating and Plumbing who was sadly bought out by King) because they don't think it's right that they should have to pay a discounted $190 (which I said I would), we're just not going to service you?!!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN! Sadly, I will not be using them for my heating and cooling. If my discounted $190 was not good enough, neither is my money for heating and cooling services!!!

At 4:15pm, called the office and was told that they had called me twice with no response. I never received a call from them. Totally blew me off!
Had better service when they were Chicagoland heating.

Service technician told me my fan motor needed to be replaced. Quoted me a $1600 repair and approximately $4500 to replace with a new unit. Another company replaced my condenser for $100.

I asked to be refunded but I guess they would rather have my bad reviews instead of refunding me $100 for wasting my time. Which was 2 days of miserable heat.

LET THE BUYERS BEWARE

BECAUSE YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET RIPPED OFF AND NO ONE WILL CARE!!!!!
