Tim W.Their scheduling was pretty good. He was able to see me the next day (albeit they rescheduled to later in the day after originally scheduling the morning).
The service itself was good, and they did what they needed.
However, they charged almost $500 for 1.5 hours of work. That seems rather pricey in my book.
This was an unbelievable waste of time calling them. Michael came out- an hour late -fine that happens. He said he would need to have his heating guy to come out and take a look as heating ducts were getting in the way of water pipe that was leaking. I never got a call back until I had to call several times. Mel came out to take a look at the situation.. He said he would send me an estimate in 2 hours. I NEVER heard back from them again- even after several days and a follow up phone call I had to make. I called another plumping company that assessed the situation- fixed it within an hour with no heating issues needed!. I would not recommend this company.
Mel and Mike came out the same day I called, New Year's Eve! They installed a new water heater at a great price, quickly, and professionally. Really nice guys who know what they are doing. I highly recommend them!
After purchasing an Angie's List deal, Michael and his associate came out to survey what needed to be done. This involved either fixing or replacing a leaky outdoor laundry tub faucet.
After being over an hour late with NO CALL, I called him. He explained he was on his way.
When Michael arrived, he checked the faucet and stated he would research the needed parts. We also discussed other options. He stated that he would get back to me on the following Monday. I never heard back from Michael the entire following week!
I have no interest in dealing with a company who finds it acceptable to ignore a customer.
For this reason, I emailed Angie's List and explained what happened. Since the 30-day refund period had expired, I was offered another similar deal which is still being finalized.
I'm not sure how or why this business received all the four and five-star reviews (most not recent) - unless they were paid for reviews. This certainly does not reflect my experience with King County Sewer Drain & Plumbing from the standpoint of not being on time, to no call and no followup.
I had bought a deal through Angie's list for an outdoor faucet replacement. Mike was on time and very professional. After looking at the situation he let me know that the faucet was actually in great shape and really only needed the washer replacing to ensure no leaking. He was happy to replace it if I wanted, but since it was functioning and not leaking, I took his advice and just got a refund from Angie's list. He wouldn't let me give him any payment for the advice and time and asked me to remember them next time I needed work done.
If you want an honest opinion from a professional who just wants the best solution all round then go with King County Sewer Drain & Plumbing.
Steve C.Excellent service, although it took a while for us to coordinate our schedules.
Friendly service and pleasant to be around.
I would still recommend shopping around to ensure you are getting the best price possible.
Lori S.I sought Mike's services after purchasing a LivingSocial Deal and having a clogged kitchen drain for 3 days. I tried the liquid plumber stuff, and had a friend try the snake route - with no luck....so professional was the next step. I called Mike in the morning, and he was able to come out that same afternoon and took care of my problem.
Mark P.Visiting a relative here in Renton we had a toilet clog on Saturday, they were out promptly.
The service tech was very courteous and professional.
Toilet repaired quickly and the cost was very fair.
As a former contractor business owner, I would highly recommend this company.

Its always nice to know that emergency service can still be the best service. I don't know how many times I have called for emergency service and had someone come out and just patch up the problem, only to see that later the same issue arises. Michael came out and was very helpful. He explained everything prior to fixing things and did it at a very reasonable cost. I was satisfied with the work done and have use his services many time since.
Melissa G.I needed a company to do a sewer inspection on a home we are purchasing. After searching Yelp I chose a company that has 29 reviews averaging five stars. I received a one line email response stating the soonest available appointment was March 18th and sorry. Apparently some companies have so much business they can afford terrible customer service.
Then I called King County Sewer Drain & Plumbing. Mike answered and was immediately responsive, professional and friendly. Exactly what you would expect from a service business. We spoke on Friday and Mike offered an appointment at the time of my choosing on Saturday. We met at the house at 9am, he arrived promptly and was very personable and professional. As we do not own the house we could not get inside and due to the age the house there was not sewer clean out easily accessible. This did not deter Mike. He ran to Lowes purchased a taller ladder and got on the roof to run the camera down the sewer vent in the roof.
Mike explained everything he saw in the video inspection and made several recommendations for work that needed to be done to bring the 63 year old plumbing system up to code. He wrote an estimate on the spot and spec'd it all out based on level of priority. I cannot say enough about Mike's professionalism and amazing customer service. After we complete the house purchase Mike will be the first one I call to complete some of the plumbing work he recommended.
King County Sewer & Plumbing is a company that exceed your expectations and deserves your business. They DO accept credit cards.
