First , He gave us a price & then at the end bumped it up $200 because of ""extended time"" when he had left for an over an hour because HE didn't bring the right equipment . Second , The problem happened again a day later and we called a separate company that did the EXACT same thing for only $85 that he had charged us almost $800 for .
Lastly , the new company also including a 90 day warranty & put a camera through the drain to figure why it happened again & they told us the drain wasn't cleaned out fully . So in the end we basically paid him for nothing . He must be paying for good reviews or having bad reviews removed because I know two separate people who have left bad reviews from their own issues with him and they are no where to be found. So hopefully this one stays up.....

All he can say to me when I call back to let him know the issue is ""you signed off saying it was good"" ... this guy is out to scam you. I can promise you that.

Lesson learned.



EDIT: Just to make this clear for anyone looking for a good plumber, he responded to this review acting as I just called him and cussed him out, when in reality I called him the day after it happened and he told me I would have to pay for a new visit, (when he didn't even fix the issue to begin with) then continued to tell me it was my fault for signing off.. I'm not a plumber , that's why I hired this guy. I did give him a call back after I had a different company come out and resolve the issue for less than 1/4th of the price I paid this guy , for them to tell me that the reason the issue came back up was actually due to Ryan not doing it properly .. so I give Ryan a call to see if he would make it right after all said and done, but truth is.. Ryan got his $800 from me, so he no longer wanted to help me out because ""I signed off on it""

Don't fall for this guys scams, like I did. Hopefully I can save you from making the same mistake !

He did some plumbing in my garage running water lines to the outside of the house. clean work, fast and efficient. made appointment and they were here right on time. Our water heater stopped working on Super Bowl Sunday, and it immediately gave me a pit in my stomach. I knew it would likely be a very expensive fix, and due to some recent not so great experiences with contractors, I was nervous about getting this resolved in a timely fashion. I called around for some quotes, and received a very reasonable price from Ryan at King Charles plumbing.

He had immediately availability and was at our house within an hour or two of my husband calling. By lunchtime we had our new water heater installed, and within a few hours we had hot water again.

Ryan was phenomenal. He was the first to provide me a quote and also happened to provide the fairest quote that aligned with the amount of work we needed. He installed our dishwasher properly (it's not as simple as one might think) and he fixed a sink leak that we thought we fixed ourselves (we were wrong)! He was absolutely wonderful and he will now be our exclusive plumber.

I wanted a mini-split ductless air conditioning unit installed in my garage. I have a 20 ft. x 20 ft. garage, so I was advised I would need an 18,000 btu (also known as a 1-1/2 ton) unit. I had four companies come out and give me an on-site inspection.
Ryan at King Charles Plumbing and Air Conditioning was recommended to me by a neighbor and I got to see the work Ryan had done for my neighbor, before hiring him. Ryan gave me the best price (by at least $2,000) and a top quality Samsung AC unit. No extra charge for using my credit card. It is covered by a 10 year parts AND labor warranty. It is very quiet yet keeps my garage down to a very comfortable 86 degrees (when it's over 110 degrees outside).
Ryan is a one man company, but that means no expensive corporate overhead. He is on time, communicates well, and does a first rate job for quality. I highly recommend him. He has the work ethics that we are all looking for when we hire someone. He is also a certified plumber. When he needs to have electrical work done for the AC unit, he brings along an electrician. No ""fly by night"" handymen that you can't track down later.
