We had several issues with plumbing in our home. We called up Tim and spoke to him right away. He quickly scheduled an appointment to come to our home and assess the problem. He told us it was likely our water heater, which was very old and had never been drained. He also told us we needed to install a p-trap on the line out from the washer to prevent odors from getting back into the washer. He quoted us a price, and when we compared his quote to others, he was right in line with everyone else.

The water heater we had was something of a custom design, but he was able to find a replacement of the same brand and design and have it installed within a couple weeks after we first called him.

He did great work, and it was all done very quickly, but what was even better is what happened after. The next day, the line from our washer started leaking. When Tim installed the p-trap, he had to bend the plastic hose that was already there into place to fit on the p-trap. This caused a small crack in it. He came back immediately, identified the problem, then went out and bought a new hose, came back and replaced the whole thing, all free of charge. That is service you cannot put a price on.

You can bet the next time we need plumbing work done, our first call will be to Tim.

Very happy to choose this company!! I had an outdoor faucet that needed to be drained before the water froze in the pipes and replaced , I called and they came to my home the next day. I have to say that Tim knew what needed to be done which could have caused damage to my home if I didnt find a plumber. He knew exactly what to do!! he added a stainless steel faucet and drained the backed up water before this froze my pipes. Very Affordable prices. I am very happy with service. would definitely use again.

When I needed a dedicated water line installed for a dishwasher I recently bought, I needed a plumber. I was very happy that I picked the right one. Tim came to my house and worked diligently to install the hot water line for the dishwasher perfectly. I also had bought a new faucet to replace the old one I had and Tim installed that perfectly as well. Aside from being an expert plumber, Tim is also a great human being and a great conversationalist. He's an honest and hardworking man that if for any reason I need any more help, he will be the first person I call. It was a pleasure to welcome him into my home.

I just recently moved to the area and began experiencing the beginning of a potential basement leak. Jim responded right away, traveled to Merrick, fixed the problem completely, and charged me a very reasonable and fair price for his services. In addition to being a very skilled plumber and an honest and reliable business owner, Jim is an all around awesome guy and I very much enjoyed his socially distanced company. While I certainly hope I won't need another plumber or hearing specialist anytime soon, it is very comforting to know that if I have any need for drain repair or the like, that someone as trustworthy and kind as Jim will save me.

Tim came by today from KGI plumbing to help replace a valve that would not function. I needed to shut down the water to my outside hose faucet and could not do so. Tim explained the options, regarding what was necessary and what we could do and gave me two prices (one for each repair option). Very down to earth guy, easy going and great to talk to. The kind of person you would sit down and have a beer with. Price was very reasonable for time and work performed and I would highly recommend him for future plumbing, heating, and cooling needs. A+
