Super responsive. Sound professional. We spent 2k on them to fix our heater last year and liked their work. We had a different heater problem and their team this year said they'd never have recommended the work done last year. Now they want us to replace our entire heater system for 13k. And on top of that they charged us $250+ to do zero work disappointed.

They came to take a look at my heating problem. After two hours, the problem was not fixed, but I had to pay them almost $600 for labor.

I had to find another contractor to fix it, and pay them as well.

Key Forest Plumbing & Heating came to my house in early November because my steam boiler would not start. They said there was no power and told me I had to hire a specialized electrician to rewire everything (they even advised one). They stayed 10 minutes, told me there was nothing they could do and charged me $277 for the visit.

I called another company who found the issue right away. It was the transformer which they said is a common issue. They confirmed the boiler had power all along, changed the part in 10 minutes and the boiler was fixed.

Oh and did I say that the main older guy had an attitude ? (the younger guy was actually very nice).

Called them to have them service our radiators and boiler....
Let's begin with how terribly they operate- the person in your house takes a picture and sends it to the office where that person directs the other guy on how to fix it. Fir $250+ an hour send me a guy who knows what he's doing!!
Next, whatever was ""fixed"" did nothing. The radiator didn't let out more steam, the room was not warmer! Then, they decided to touch our boiler but didn't have a replacement part or couldn't fix it due to the office not having something so it was left as is!! The boiler started to leak so I called them to let them know about the shotty work done.
Spoke to Paul in the office who of course had a different account of what happened. He told me he would call the service men then call me back. One business day passes and I didn't get a call so I had my husband call instead. Mysteriously, Paul was never around that day to speak to him once my husband gave his identifying information! Our calls were dodged...hey Paul still waiting on that call back!
Well we got their mess fixed by a professional who actually knew what he was doing. That person pointed out the issues we did have with other radiators that those guys completely missed.
Unreal, what a joke! Stay away from this awful place masquerading as a business!!!

Absolutely the worst!! The tech and his sidekick cane to replace a water heater which was leaking, not flooding the basement. Easy enough job. However, they piped it incorrectly, a building violation, did not vent it properly, another buildIng violation. All the while they were complaining that they had to get outta there, cause it's Friday?!?! And needed to get to their fav bar!! They did make time to rob all the old copper parts, so they could make some side money, and crapping in my toilet, leaving a diaherrea and stench....

Would I recommend them? Not if you want to spend more money to fix what violations they behind and clean up after swine......

We give Kew Forest Plumbing & Heating our highest recommendation. They are honest and provide the highest quality work. We have been with them for years(annual boiler inspections) but, recently, they really came through. Our gas company inspection found a gas leak that required immediate repair so we reached out to KF for help. If you have ever had this happen, you know that it can be very nerve-racking. Paul, the owner, and his office staff were super responsive. He took all the information we could provide and described potential causes and possible solutions. Shortly thereafter we had a crew on-site working on the problem. Paul's crew was very professional and friendly and answered all our questions. The job was completed the same day and passed inspection. Our experience reinforced for us how important it is to know a highly skilled & honest plumber.

I have worked with Kew Forest for over three years now - I am a designer and contractor and I hire them for my renovation jobs. Kew Forest have never failed to deliver quality service. Jobs are always completed in timely manner. Paperwork is properly filed. The entire staff is reliable, professional and responsive. Both Paul and Darren, the owners, are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. They are also wonderful people. I am happy I found them and look forward to working with them for many years.

Not what they used to be. I used them for over 10 years on my 3 properties and they honest always did a good job.
I don't know what happen to them but now it is a different story.
I used then recently twice and felt the scammed me.
It's very disappointing as I now have to fine someone new.

We came in contact with Kew Forest Plumbing when Bill Wagner came to make a bid on redoing our bathroom about 20 years ago. I had been given a 10 page agreement by another contractor for the bathroom and was overwhelmed. Bill asked some questions and said he would get me a written contract the next day. The contract was 1 page, but included everything. We went with Kew Forest. Bill provided places for tiles for floor and walls, and all the fixtures. It was easy for us to select everything. The plumbers, and subcontractor were so easy to work with. But better, they did great work, even asking to stay later and working through lunch to get the job done on time. They completed the job and came in on budget. Best of all we had a beautiful bathroom. Recently our boiler went and they are expensive. We needed an outside loan which required we have bids and go with the lowest bidder. Kew Forest came in second. We were so disappointed. Paul, due to our long relationship even offered us a payment plan, but we had already signed an agreement. Kew Forest charges by the hour and on two visits the bill was higher than we believed it should be. Once we spoke with them about it there was no problem. I hope they continue to do well. I have no complaints.
