Kevin removed and replaced our kitchen sink faucet. It was not an easy job, as the hardware had rusted together after more than 17 years. Wow!

Kevin installed a water heater at my home. He arrived on time and did a great job. He ran into a few challenges that he dealt with in fast and professional manner. These included having to rework the water supply lines above the heater to accommodate the difference in height of the heater. The heater ended up being defective (had a damaged controller) which Kevin recognized at the end of the first day. He then uninstalled the tank/heater, purchased a new one and got us up and running the next morning. Net, great experience and I would definitely recommend Kevin.

HORRIBLE SERIVCE AND LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLSET. Sadly its hard to find a good plumber and there are a lot of dishonest ones out there. Kays plumbing was nothing but a waste of time, money and a huge headache. I should have used yelp to find a highly rated contractor but fell for a promo scam from angies list.

Kevin is the owner of Kay's Plumbing and Painting and was extremely courteous, professional and helpful with advice. He came over to fix our guest bathroom. Our guest bathroom had a faulty faucet. We just redid our guest bathroom and the water continuously came out brown. We asked our original contractor to fix the situation and he said that there was nothing he could do about it. We were searching for a local provider this time (someone located in Lamorinda and found Kay's. Kevin told us that this shouldn't be a problem and we did not have to go back completely into the wall. He went in and evaluated the situation and told us the original contractor did not replace the nipple of the faucet in the tub. He replace it and told us our problems were solved! Sure enough no more brown water and charged us a minimum of his one hour rate without charging us for the supplies, etc.

We were so impressed with his can do attitude and fairness in pricing that we asked if he knew anyone that could paint. He showed us his card and told has that he had over 15 years of painting experience. Our daughter wanted her room painted bright pink and Kevin said that he could do that. It turned out so well that we asked if he could paint our entire interior house and his rates were extremely reasonable (we didn't choose Pink for the rest of the house but other colors).

He told us where he suggested we stop one color and continue with another. I had no idea that you should stop at a corner versus a wall for example. We both work and just let Kevin have the keys and he went about his business. Extremely trustful and clean! After he was done with his work we could hardly tell that he was even there outside of the new beautiful painted walls. Kevin's pricing was extremely fair (we priced out three other contractors) and found that his price was not only the lowest but his timeline of finishing the project was also the fastest. The whole project turned out wonderful and we could not have been happier. Kevin asked us to do a review on Angie's list and we have never used this site before but are more than happy to oblige.

Kevin was incredible to work with, pricing was extremely fair and we would 100% recommend him for any needs that you have in the future.
