sue f.I am soooo happy! When I called to have my sink drain cleaned out after four days of no kitchen sink waiting on a no show plumber, the telephone was answered by a courteous and professional person, who immediately worked to accommodate me and my schedule. Within less than 24 hours Nick was at my door, after phoning to let me know when he would arrive! He quickly assessed my problem and took care of the sink drain! My kitchen is functional again! Thank you Nick and Kevin Szabo Jr Plumbing! Highly recommended!
Very prompt , service and timing. Very honest people to do business with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. will call again for service
Called for a plumber this morning and they sent a very competent, honest plumber that fixed my backed up drain. He didn't try to oversell me and explained exactly what it was that he was doing. Could not ask for better service! Thank you!
George B.I worked with Nick to fix our water heater for a small commercial office space. He was great. We did everything via phone/text. Gave me a quote, ordered the parts we needed, and fixed our problem without me needing to take a day off work. Highly recommend.
Gary C.Everything we have had done has had to be replaced or corrected at least once and sometimes multiple times. I called regarding a sump pump and they replaced it, but the check valve began leaking and spraying water. They replaced the valve, but the same thing happened within a year. Then I was told it was a batch of bad valves and they replaced the last one for free which fixed it.
The other ejector pump rocked the whole house every time it shut down. The plumber changed the check valve and attached all kinds of hangers to the framing. After a short time it continued and I called them back and they made some adjustments that helped but did not eliminate the problem. Recently I've had to spend more time at home due to a knee replacement and noticed the problem get worse. I called them back again and they said it was likely the same issue with a batch of bad check valves.
They replaced it and then handed us a bill for $120. We asked why and the plumber said the work was done to long ago and we should have called earlier. We had someone out for this issue three separate times. Seems that if the problem was caused by a batch of bad parts then they should have replaced it for free.
Takes too many trips to do simple repairs and you end up paying more in the end because you have to pay for their mistakes. Won't be going back.
William L.I can't say Enough Good Things about the Job Jaime did today. He came out to fix a blockage in My Sewer Line. He went above what was expected to make sure the line was flowing. I know who I'm calling for all My Plumbing needs for now on.
After purchasing my first home I hit a major issue with a water service line leak. After contacting them through yelp Jamie called and set up an appointment.
Jamie was able to diagnose my issue and offered multiple options to fix the leak. My quotes were very fair and lower than most of the competitors.
They arrived and did a great job keeping the area clean and the dust down while breaking through the concrete. Everything through the process was professional and timely. I now have peace of mind knowing I have found a plumber that can handle any issue. Nice being a new homeowner.
I contacted this plumbing company on Friday, Dec.30th to fix a leaky bathtub spout. The posi-temp cartridge inside the shower control needed to be replaced, and I related this info to the dispatcher. He advised me that someone would be out btw. 3pm -5pm that day. The plumber assigned called me to advise that he was running late, and arrived at 5:15 pm. He went right to work, but was unable to pull the cartridge out of the valve stem, causing a flow of water to run from the valve and into the bathtub. He advised me that the job required more work than originally planned for, and that he would return by 10:00 am the next day (Sat, New Year's Eve). The water now flowing from the valve, which was originally just a drip coming from the bathtub spout, was now substantial, about the amount coming out of a faucet halfway open. He left without doing anything to stem the flow other than putting a plastic bag underneath the valve so water didn't get behind the wall. He then left and said he would return by 10:00 am tomorrow. I had to turn the water off for the entire house so the water flow was not continuous for the entire evening.
The plumber never returned that morning, and did not even call. I called the plumbing company, advised of the situation, and asked for the owner to call me. Kevin Szabo did call me back, and after I explained what occurred, he told me that the water flow should have at least been capped and should not have been left in that condition. He told me he would call me back in a few minutes, and when he did, he advised me that he would be coming out himself to do the work in about 2 hours. After almost 3 hr, Mr. Szabo called me to advise that he was running late, and would arrive in about an hour and a half. After waiting almost 2 and a half hours, I called Mr. Szabo to ask his status, but I just got his voicemail. I then called the dispatcher to request he get a hold of Mr. Szabo and have him call me.
Mr. Szabo called me back at 4:35 pm, and said he was at least another hour away, if not longer. As this was New Year's Eve, I asked him if he was going to make it out to my house at all today. He advised me that he did not think so. He did not offer any options, further assistance, or advice. But he said he was sorry.
The plumber had not only made my plumbing problem worse, but caused my family and I great inconvenience. I had to scramble to furiously make phone calls to other plumbers to get someone to come out on a holiday weekend to repair the damage this plumber caused. I have used many different contractors over the years for home projects, and not all experiences have been positive. But this lack of concern, irresponsibility, and complete absence of professionalism on the part of this plumbing company takes the cake.
These guys are great! My wife noticed we had no hot water while I was at work. We had concerns about finding someone Friday afternoon, the day before Christmas eve. I found these guys on yelp. They had great reviews. So I called them. They were at our home in about 2 hrs. My wife met them because I couldn't leave work. She said when they came they were very nice and polite. They were very professional and explained everything to her. Well, our hot water heater was leaking inside and dripping on the pilot.
So being the Friday before Christmas we scheduled our new hot water heater for the following Monday.
We were able to have hot water over the weekend, because they showed us how to light the pilot. They also said if we can get it lit over the holiday, call them and they'd come out.
Well we had our new water heater put in this morning and we couldn't be more pleased. John and Cody were very nice, professional and efficient. Just like my wife said. So going forward, this our new plumber.
Would I recommend these guys? ABSOLUTELY!
These guys came out quickly and did a nice job on a toilet that was leaking. I'd definitely use them again if i had any problems. Pricing-wise, they were right in line with advise I got from another plumber I spoke with.
