Recommended Customer Reviews

I contacted Kevin Ginnings Plumbing to replace 2 thermostats on one hot water heater in my house. They were here ~30 minutes and charged me $540, of which $390 of that was referenced for the part. I thought that seemed extremely high, but paid. I had another plumbing company come out in days following for a different issue - and asked them what that typically costs - and was quoted $250. He also shared that the part is typically $50. Incredibly disappointed in the service, cost, and transparency of price - as I was not quoted a price until after the work was done. It's also ridiculous that the service fee does not go towards any of the cost! DO NOT USE this company.

Charged right at $400 to tell me would be $10,000 to fix. Called another plumber and entire problem was fixed for $675. Way over priced! Feeling very ripped off at the $400 do nothing but scope charge

Great service! We had a sump pump go out on a Saturday afternoon and in less than 3 hours they had a new one installed. Very courteous and professional!

I was very pleased with Ginnings, they showed up when they said they would and had things fixed quick. Thank you so much.

I would recommend Kevin Ginnings Plumbing Services without hesitation. They have been to the house twice - once during a freeze period when a pipe froze and broke and the other to install new bathroom fixtures that I couldn't do myself. The crew was very professional and the jobs were done well at a reasonable cost.

We have a rental house that needed an ice maker valve replaced. Seemed simple enough. According to Home Depot and Lowes website a 1/4 turn ball valve ranged in price from 8.95 to 14.95. 45 minutes of labour at $100 an hour I figured the cost would be around $150.00. High but in the realm, but Oh NO it wasn't. Kevin has a ""special valve that cost $299.00. With the labour it came to $388.00. Anyone even thinking of using these folks go to the next name on the list!!!!!! It was funny they replaced both water heater valves for me 2 years ago for $90.00. Apparently a pair of 3/4"" ball valves is cheaper than a single 1/2"" and easier to install. The ""tech"" also noticed that the master toilet as loose and that they charged $230.00 to remove and reset a toilet. CAREFUL selecting these guys....they have zero conscience!!!!! Sadly I have to pick one star since you can't leave that blank to post!!!!! Otherwise it would have been zero STARS!!!!!!! It is a shame that no one has integrity or honesty anymore. - ADDENDUEM: I just got a phone call from a representative of Ginnings Plumbing wanting to send my check back. When I asked why he said ""his boss just wanted to send the check back"". I asked several times if there was a problem with my check and he said no. I told him I keep my end of a bargain even if I know I got ripped off and if his boss want to talk to me he should call me. I also asked if they wanted to send my check back because they felt guilty and he said ""no sir. I DO NOT FEEL GUILTY IN THE LEAST"" I'll let you the public decide; does a company that is willing to hand back $388.00 sound like a little guilt might be involved?

They were on time, friendly, and performed all requested services for a fair price. I would use again.

WARNING!!! Do NOT call this company unless you do not care about being robbed. My water service entrance valve was dripping and we called Ginnings to repair as I am physically unable to do these things for myself. The represenative was here for approximately an hour total and presented me with a bill of $450.00 after severe protests he graciously (sarc) reduced the total to $385.50. This to replace a valve that wouldn't cost over $50 on the Plaza. To me this is just plain old fraud and elder abuse to take advantage of old people like they have just done. Just know and be aware that if you don't get a firm bid in advance you WILL be taken to the cleaners. (And you won't feel clean after.)

A previous plumber that I had contracted bailed on providing me service since he lived an hour away from my unit. Fortunately, I was able to find Kevin Ginnings Plumbing and he was very accommodating in tasking his technician, Dale, to fix some plumbing issues prior to the sale of my unit. I described the issues to Dale and he was able to give me a free quote over the phone. I decided to go with his services and he was able to take care of the plumbing issues right away. Needless to say, Dale was able to get me out of a jam.
Although the service and professionalism from Dale are 5 stars, I feel that the payment process is flawed. At the time of writing Kevin Ginnings offerred a voucher yelp special of ""$69 for $150 Deal"" which is what led me to using their services in the first place. The deal doesn't specify that I need to purchase the promotional prior to the work being done. It does say ""your voucher is redeemable for the amount you paid"". Since I hadn't paid for my invoice, I thought that I can use the voucher even though the work was already conducted. However, Kevin Ginnings informed me that I can't purchase the voucher after the work was performed. First off, this is very disappointing because I was interested because of the yelp deal you advertised. But more importantly, by not honoring your own deal, it shows that this false advertisement.
For example, if you go to a restaurant, grocery store, etc. and have a coupon you don't need to inform the establishment that you have a coupon prior to them serving you food or acquiring shopping items into your cart. All you need to do is present the coupon prior to payment and they take the difference off of the final bill. Kevin, if you are not going to honor your deals then you shouldn't falsely advertise.
Kudos to Dale for being a great technician, but bad business decision on Kevin's part. Trust from your customers is your biggest ally in business. You're not helping yourself in this department.

Kevin Ginnings did a good job to fix my plumbing. I was planning on spending time with a good friend of mine this weekend, but unfortunately my sink was broken. I decided to give Kevin Ginnings a call from Kevin Ginnings Plumber Co. Ginnings came out and personally helped to fix my sink in no time. I respect Kevin Ginnings for his service and I recommend the Kevin Ginnings Plumbing & Son to anyone who has a bad sink or plumbing.
