Remodeling bathroom and we were impressed with KCP's communication and immediate response to our request for an estimate. Wade was friendly, responsive and professional. It was a 2 part job with the first being disconnecting water and drains from a tub and and seperate shower stall. Job was completed and paid for a which allowed us to move forward with planning and misc. repairs and changes. Due to a back order and delay on receiving shower stall and a prescheduled vacation the 2nd part of the job was pushed back a month. From that point on communication and information were basically nonexistent. I repeatedly tried to get an estimate for the 2nd part of the job and was even told that Jason would come out and give a bid and then immediately do the job. I said I didn't like that process since we couldnt evaluate the cost and charges. After talking to numerous office employees we finally received the estimate from Wade and it was $600-$700 higher than what we expected and what competitors calculated. We chose to go elsewhere. Nobody seems to be on the same page in this Company. Very disappointed. What started out as a wonderful experience turned into a s_itshow. I also found out that this Company had sold during this period. Not a fan of their business model and estimating process. Get 3 estimates!

Ok here is the scoop. Kevin Cohen plumbing has good plumbers but they will cost you three to four times the competition get a second quote because they overcharge. I will never use them again total rip off and very sad they take advantage of people like that. I can't believe how stupid I was to use them without getting another quote in the past. This time I needed a shower valve and head installed they quoted me $788 so I called Chapman plumbing and the job was done for $193 I really hope you stay away from this predatory company.

After calling in the morning with a non-emergency they show up hours after scheduled appointment to fix a leak! They persist to charge us for after hours and I told the people who showed up that we called in non emergency and scheduled during normal hours! They didn't care and continued to charge us after hours! So I will never give them business again! Please be warned and don't let them do this to you

Travis Jones replaced the shower/bathtub fixtures and fixed the drain and he was both professional and friendly. My mom has dementia and is usually uptight about strangers in the house, but his demeanor was so nice and friendly and professional that she hardly noticed him. I appreciated how clearly Travis explained what he proposed we do and left me to decided based on all the information. So glad I didn't use YouTube to try to fix the fixtures myself!!! I'll sleep well tonight for the first time in ages (no dripping sound) thanks to Kevin Cohen Plumbing and Travis Jones.

When I bought the house, the realtor recommended Kevin Cohen Plumbing, and it's no wonder. I've called them on two occasions so far, and they were very skilled and informative. I'm definitely going to call them again to mark a few things off the inspection report.

Just wanted to give a shout out to these guys. From the time we made the call to the time of service the communication was fabulous, the guys were on time and they fixed the problem while being respectful of my home and property. I would definitely use these guys again. They take pride in their work and love what they are doing. Great customer service.

the most incompetent, over priced useless plumbers I ever hired..they sent two men to do a one man job... from beginning to end my experience with Keven Cohen Plumbing was a night mare.. I would never ever call them again.... they sent two guys to do my job who sat on their hands and padded the hours, took a break to buy parts or probably go eat donuts on my dime... it was misery....

3/13/18. I received an apology and was told they will void service call charge. Was a better ending to an overall bad experience and waste of my time. Earn upgrade to 2 stars for office staff.

Technician (not even a plumber) arrived and had no idea about ball stem system of single lever shower. I had already purchased kit w parts from delta.
Not only did technician not recognize the components, but confirmed had never done it.
Then quoted a charge $175 to figure it out. NO WAY!!! The young technician man had not been trained with this older stem ball shower single handle system. Said ""was going to charge so much because he might run into a problem"". I called for a plumber. Not an unsupervised, untrained technician.
Now a week later KC sends me an email invoice and they want to charge me a $59 for technician coming to my door who was clueless.

GO WITH PETERSEN PLUMBING who switched out gaskits/springs in 15 minutes. Both the senior plumber and apprentice knew exactly what this ball stem single lever shower system was and did the repair quickly. PETERSEN PLUMBING was just over 1/2 of the quoted cost too.

2. Accepted responsibility for repairing it after 10+ calls to their corporate service line with outsourced agents and talked to a real human..
3. Found out how much it cost- KC plumbing denied responsibility
4. Sent the plumber that did the damage to my home to decide whether or not they did the damage
5. Plumber who did terrible work resulting in a leak, told me it was my fault
6. 10+ calls to their corporate service line with outsourced agents and talked to a real human
7. 1 month later, General manager agreed to pay for the damages
8. I pay to have the damage repaired

11. Refused to pay for damages and refunds my money for the repairs after stating that they ""will beat me in small claims court""
