Founded in 1966, Kettman Heating was started by the Kettman family with the goal of offering quality products and customer service to the residents of Putnam, Bureau, and LaSalle counties.
Our parents began this business in 1966, and as we graduated high school, we became part of the business. We became the owners of the business ten years ago.

Robin B.Called them less than a month ago to have them come and fix my AC. It was running but not blowing out cold air throughout the vents of the house. They came out and were here for 30 minutes or less, said I needed more freon so he put in 11 oz of that and charged me $58.50 for that, then said the air filters also needed cleaning so he used my hose to spray them out which he charged me $45.00 to use my hose and my water to clean out some air filters? That wasn't even the worst part. Their flat rate of ""labor"" costs for their time is $98.00 whether they're there for five minutes or an hour. In total the bill was 201.50 for 11 oz of freon, and something I could of done myself. Moral of the story: I called them back again today (three weeks after the first time the AC broke down) for the same issue, to have them come and fix it since they clearly didn't the first time, and they told me it would be $185.00 plus whatever the parts will cost to fix it.
P.s. Don't even think about calling on the weekend because their labor rate is $185 non-negotiable and that's before the cost of ""parts"". Please, please do not waste your time or money. They will simply do the bare minimum so that they have to come back within a few short weeks, and you have to spend another $100+ for their precious time.
P.s.s Their customer service is terrible, was quite upset they quoted me so high after not fixing it the first time and the lady just told me ""call someone else then"". Fine by me, I'd rather give my money to some other business than a greedy one.
