Kessler Plumbing & Heating
Company Overview
Kessler Plumbing & Heating Inc delivers residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing and heating solutions to Los Angeles, CA and nearby regions.
We take great pride in being a well-established plumbing service in LA.
Initially established by a German immigrant, Kessler Plumbing has consistently been a family-operated company. It has been handed down to successive generations. Otto Kessler, a member of the third generation, transferred ownership to Jeff Davis in the early 1980s. Mr. Kessler did not have anyone to take over. Jeff Davis acquired many new clients who have stayed with us. Clients like Jons Market, Vons, Ralphs, Food 4 Less, and countless satisfied residential customers.
In 2008, the business found new ownership under a German immigrant. His name is Timo Spoerl, a highly respected ""Master Plumber"" from Germany. He possesses the B (General), C4 (Boiler), C20 (HVAC), and C36 (Plumbing) licenses in California. Alongside standard service and repairs in all areas of plumbing and heating, he can assist with complex hydronic heating inquiries.
Growing up in Southern Germany, Timo trained for four years and earned his journeyman plumber status in 1993. He attained the Master of Plumbing and Heating designation in Germany in 1997 after working as a journeyman for four years. He became a licensed plumbing contractor in California in 2005. He has also acquired B (General), C4 (Boiler, Thermal Solar Heat), and C20 (HVAC - Forced Air) contractor licenses.
Just give him a call; he is more than happy to assist you.

OMG. Run. Run Run away as fast as you can. They were (key word WERE) TERRIFIC in 2012, they are the worst EVER now in 2015. They are complete scammers and charge for work they didn't do. FULL DISCLAIMER: They charge 1.5 hours just to come out and take a look. They charge $95 an hour AND send amateur plumbers. NONE of this ever happened before... and I'm proof of this since I've used them as my go-to plumber since 2012. I'm so appalled by their business ethics. I have had plumbing issues lately (yeah, when it rains, it pours), and they must have looked at me as their cash register for the month. Please find another plumber, and if you like the one you find, let me know.... I'm still looking. For now, thank goodness for You Tube Video ""how to's"". Oh, Kessler Plumbing... what happened to you!!??

Saw the ""Free Estimate"" ad on their site, and filled in the form to check my shower in my LA Rental house. Service guy comes out, turns on the water, looks in the hole we cut in the drywall to access the pipes and gives us a $4,000+ estimate. Way more than I can afford. So then I get a bill for over $100 for a ""Work Order"". When I call and say all I wanted and got was an estimate, no work was done, the very, very snotty and aggressive female on the phone demanded I pay it or they will put a lien on my house! Trying to sell the house to buy another and cannot afford either a lien or ding on my credit, so paid under protest, which means I cannot even get it back in small claims court. RIP-OFF!
If you want an honest, competent plumber, keep on looking because these scam artists are not it!

These guys are scammers. We asked them if they offered free estimates and they told us they did. A guy came out, gave us an estimate and wrote zero dollars owed on the receipt. 3 months later, they call us demanding 200 dollars and threatened to send us to collections and put a lien on our house. Don't be a bait and switch victim like us. Stay away from these criminals.

I have always had a Great experience with these guys ! They are very accommodating. I think the dudes name was Matt that fixed my faucet, super cool guy and did an amazing job !!

I love them! My condenser on ac system broke in middle of summer. The old one was 15 years old. Kessler came and replaced within 24 hours. Of course I was not working and cost was high..They let me pay in installments.. They saved the day for me and I will always be grateful..

Matthew came to clear a drain clog in the kitchen sink. He was totally professional and friendly. The job was done right the first time. Nuff said.

Today, Mattew Martinez, one of the plumbers at Kessler Plumbing and Heating came to my house and fixed EVERYTHING in 4 hours. I had 3 showers that were not working. One had no hot water, the second was leaking water out of the handle, the last one's handle was so tight that I couldn't control the temperature. He also fixed the leaky toilet and fixed the other toilet seat cover. He was very courteous, professional, and knew his stuff. He is the best plumber I have seen. The guy is a master! He did the job and did it right in record time. I recommend him without any hesitation.

I had someone come to my house to give me an estimate fix a pipe that was incorrectly connected. I didn't want to do it because it needed to be inspected..
He told me the minimum they charge was for 90 min and that would be $90.
I left my daughter there and she ended up paying $200. Why? he told her that was how much it was. How long was he there? About 20 min and went out to get a part. (a connector that cost about $5.) Even with him leaving it was much less that 90 min. She had paid him. And didn't challenge the bill. I called up the company and they refused to stand by what they had told me and really didn't care..
DO NOT USE THEM. NO INTEGRITY. DISHONEST

I'm living in a house that is under construction and out of the dozens of people that have been hired to work on the house, Manny at Kessler Plumbing is person that has showed up on time, on both visits.
Upon first visit, Manny identified the plumbing problem in the upstairs bathroom quickly and told he thought the part that I needed to replace was probably still under warranty so if I could wait a couple days, I'd save a couple hundred dollars by getting a free replacement. My warranty did end up covering the part, I received it a couple days later, and Manny came back to install it. He was very competent and thorough, and I haven't had a problem with the plumbing since.
I trusted Manny 100%, he did a terrific job, saved me money, and I have absolutely no complaints. I won't call any other plumbing service ever again. Thank you!

Mr. Michael Sir.... tis' I, the ""incompetent tech"" that gave you the sincere and humble service you so quickly disregarded as soon as the very well known sweet talkers that are Jack Stefan sold you a service that was completely unnecessary(replace flue vent). I completely and thoroughly explained to you what I did to correct your problem and now you turn around and play the part of the unknowing victim. I've been in this business for over 10 years and am proud of the service that I provide. Furthermore, as a Kessler employee I have witnessed the well education of our techs in the field whom deliver quality service too.
As for your refund, we asked you for your receipt and you wouldn't take the time to provide us with it therefore, we assume it isn't important to you. I would really like to know how much you were charged for unnecessarily changing out your flue vent.........
a ridiculous sum i'm sure.
In any case it is always a pleasure to serve those in need. Your dissatisfaction is unfortunate. We are prideful of the quality of the service that we provide. Wish you the best.
CHEERS!
