The pipe through which my toilet works had a broken valve that would not prevent the water from trying to go into the toilet, but the flexible hose had a leak that I could not stop. Every few minutes required that I empty the collection pan I placed on the floor. I tried to turn the main water off, but did not have the proper tool or strength to do it. In desperation, I called Kerrygold Plumbing. Rather quickly they arrive - that was excellent. First, the man, with my help, turned the main water from the street off. Then he came and examined the situation. First, he suggested I get a new toilet as to fix this one would probably be almost the same. Then he complained that my pipes were galvanized and that could be a problem - perhaps I should think about having the house re-fitted with new pipes. I asked him to just fix the broken valve at the end of the pipe and I would investigate whether I need a new toilet or just repair the old one. He quickly removed the broken part and installed a new valve (a very small item) which I would assume was very inexpensive. A look at home depot shows the type I have at less than $20.00. The gentleman was finished rather quickly. Less than 1 hour, more like 20 to 30 minutes. The charge for this inexpensive part, which was easy and quick to install was $ 450.00. THIS IS A BIG RIP OFF, as far as I am concerned. I will never use or recommend this company. Before Kerrygold, I tried to contact a plumber we know who lives a few blocks away, but since it was early in the morning 7:am I left him a message, but since my room was flooding I tried to get someone ASAP. Later, after the job was done he called me. I explained what happened, but didn't mention the cost. I asked him what that same procedure would have cost me if he did it and he replied between 100 and 150 dollars depending on the time plus the part. When I told him it was $450 he laughed and said there are companies who do that, unfortunately. I checked via google and discovered that the average price per hour for an emergency plumber was between 50 and 150 dollars per hour. I WAS RIPPED OFF - shame on Kerrygold Plumbing.

We used Kerrygold Plumbing for a number of plumbing problems at our home. We ultimately needed them to (1) stop a small leak under the house, (2) replace a part on a running toilet, (3) replace a dripping/leaking kitchen faucet, and (4) replace the pressure relief valve and pressure regulator. We had only called them out for items 1 and 2, but then noticed lingering issues after their visit. It took a few more visits (4 in total over a couple of weeks) to diagnose and solve all the issues after the initial repairs, but after speaking with the owner Dan, we figured it out and got back on track. My dad had recommended Kerrygold to me after using them for a major pipe repair, and we both found Kerrygold to be fair, pleasant to work with, and professional. They show up on time (or even early) and complete the repairs in the projected timeframe. Most importantly, they do good quality work and will come back quickly if the problem isn't solved. Shout-out to our technician leads Marcus and Mauricio and their teammates. We would use Kerrygold again in the future.

We heard water running in the wall and the first plumber we called suspected a slab leak. So did an emergency plumber who came when we found water. A leak detection company came by and confirmed the leak but could not precisely identify the source. We were stuck. A colleague referred me to Kerrygold and they were able to get the right folks in to identify and cap the leak, reroute water from a separate source manifold, and restore water to the house. From the office staff to the plumbers who came out, I definitely have only positive things to say. My 5-star rating isn't just because they fixed my issue - in this case I can compare to 3 other companies, and Kerrygold were the best: professional, good communicators, on time, reliable, and respectful of property and people. Their estimates, recommendations, and I have already started to recommend them to friends and neighbors, and certainly would use them again.
