I was recently involved in a situation with Kerrville Plumbing Plus. A neighbor was needing a new recirculating pump for her hot water heater. She was quoted $800 by the plumber. I questioned what I thought was an exorbitant charge and I was told that was the charge according to the book. She was desperate for hot water in her kitchen and laundry room.The charge would've been $159 for the service call and analysis of the problem if she had not agreed to the charge.
It took the plumber an hour and a half. He used the existing connection which he adapted. The pump was $89 at a plumbing supply co.
I asked him for an itemized copy of the bill and he kept referring to the book.
I called and talked to the owner Bill Caron, who attempted to justify the charge, but failed.
It seems this company has devised a method to extract more money from there customers with this "book ". I understand other companies are also using this billing method.
Moral of the story- Ask the company how they bill jobs before they come out

Our water system kept freezing up, and in an odd way. Kerrville plumbing tried different fixes, and we think we've got it right on the third try. So why the 5star rating? It's a complicated problem, tough to identify and trial and error was the only way to solve it. And on try #2, the owner got personally involved. Also on try #3, and he was really wanting to solve it, so they came out early while things were still frozen. We think it's solved now, and impressively, there was no charge after visit #1. I would recommend them to anyone.

They said they would be here at 9:00AM to replace two valves and supply lines under a bathroom sink. After three phone calls from me, two men arrived at 11:37AM!
They had quoted a fixed price of $205, which I agreed to although I thought it was high.I thought the job must be labor-intensive. The two men did the job in 23 minutes! They installed less than $100 in materials. By my math that equals about $130 per man-hour! Never again.

I've always been really happy with Kerrville Plumbing. They are knowledgeable and reasonable with their pricing; however, I will say I was a little disappointed with the last job. It took way to long for them to fix the leak in the yard. I know the house is vacant, but they requested the water to be turned off for the yard, which we did. It was about 2 weeks before they went back to fix the problem and that was with me calling to follow up a few times. Not good on the St. Augustine and trees with this heat. The other problem is the way they left the yard. It was a nice flat grass covered yard, but now there is a big, uneven area of big clumps of dirt/mud they left. It would have been nice if they could have semi flattened it back out so the grass could cover it where it would look nice. It's going to take some work to get it back smooth again. I will call them again in the future, just hope their response to finalize the job is a little quicker and the "clean up" a little better.

Our well needed to be completely rewired, new pot, new pump, add new water tanks, etc. Kerrville Plumbing was one of three estimates we got. They were quite a bit higher, but absolutely worth it. You get what you pay for. They are extremely knowledgeable, and for our job they used the highest quality products, the work is warranted, and we know it was done correctly the first time. When we are ready to look at heat pumps or anything else related to plumbing, we will use Bill and his team.

Called to have service on a faucet that was leaking. Job was done fine. It Needed a cartridge replaced. cost for the part was $97.00. Did research for the part, although I was unable to locate the exact same item, I did find ones that looked like the replaced cartridge for $12.95. I can understand a mark-up, but Wow! Lesson learned.

We needed the HVAC unit to be checked because our electric bills have been escalating. They came out to the house and thoroughly took care of the problems. Excellent, knowledgeable service.

I needed them to fix my tub drain and install a new water heater. They were prompt and reasonably priced and fixed my tub drain, they also gave me a reasonable price to installed my new owner furnished water heater. The WH need new electrical service and their cost was way above what I believed it should be. I told them I just wanted them to install the WH and not to do the electrical work; I never heard from them again.

Kerrville Plumbing did a great job hard wiring our hot tub. They were very professional, courteous, reasonable and quick. I would recommend them and if I have a electrical or plumbing problem in the future I won't hesitate to call them again!
