Scheduled 10 days ago to be at my house between 7 and 8 this morning. Thanked me for being reasonable about scheduling AFTER the new year..

Didn't call til nearly 7:30 this morning to say ""... 12 people called out sick ... you'll need to be rescheduled ... we only have 3 plumbers today ... "".

If 12 of your 15 plumbers care so little about your company and customers that they don't even worry about losing their jobs for calling out sick the day after New Year's ... WOW do you have problems!

And I'm not so sure I ""need"" to be rescheduled ... the company has given me no reason to want to work with them in future. They've proven unreliable, and were largely unapologetic until it became clear I wouldn't just roll over.

Things happen ... how you handle them makes a difference. This was an embarassing clusterfoodle for a company with such a previously good reputation.

More than 100% satisfied with the work Jonathon and crew did to install a new gas line in my home. I contacted quite a few providers for estimates and theirs was very fair even while they were the only ones to give me a very high degree of confidence that they were competent and knew what they were doing. Jonathon even discovered a couple of related issues that I was not aware of and not mentioned in my initial request for a quote but he went ahead and took care of them for me while him and crew were on site. Very prompt and responsive throughout the process and Sara is a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent work and service. Jonathan's crew ran a new gas line to our kitchen for a new range/oven. They were on time, worked hard and did a great job. They do honest work and are priced well. I will definitely recommend them to friends and call them the next time I need something done.

Johnathon and his team are absolutely delightful to work with. I smelled gas in my kitchen cabinets, and was very concerned since have a gas stove. I called the City of Mesa, Gas Company division, I guess that is the right term. they came out and had to shut our gas off until the problem was detected. Kerns Plumbing was the recommended plumber, so we called them. The owner, Johnathon, offered to come out that very day, after his last scheduled appointment, which was after normal work hours. I told him we'd wait until the morning so he could go home after a long work day. He came over the next morning and was extremely helpful, and efficient at finding the root of our gas problem. He was very professional, and it didn't take long for us to determine that he knows what he's doing. He doesn't waste a lot of time talking about what he knows, he Just does his work, and you are confident, right away, that he knows his stuff. My husband and I are both very impressed with his work, and we also liked and appreciated his obvious work ethic and knowledge of his craft. We highly recommend Kerns Plumbing.

I would highly recommend Kerns Plumbing! My disposal was leaking and Jonathan was at my house within an hour and had everything fixed very quickly. He was detail oriented and very courteous! Autumn, in the office is also very helpful. I will definitely call Kerns next time I need a plumber!

I recently had some back yard work done for a new sprinkler system and a week later, my yard is flooding. Come to find out of a case of bad luck that it was the valve filter/system that just happen to go out. I called, scheduled a day, I went and bought the part I needed, they came out and had it fixed within 30min.

I found a crack in the tank on on of the toilets. Called the plumber I normally use only to find he moved out of the area. Checked Yelp and found these folks. Glad I did. I called and they quickly called back and made an appointment. I also mentioned that a faucet needed replaced. They gave me an estimate for both, noting that it was unlikely they could find a tank and might have to replace the entire toilet. Not a surprise as the house is 12 years old. Jonathan showed up, calling ahead. He found a tank, it was perfect. He examined the faucet, tightened it, straightened a handle, determined it did not need replaced. That was that and he was done in less than 30 minutes. $201 versus an estimate of $570. I have a new plumber.

Kern's Plumbing is hands down the best gas company around! Jonathan is always willing to go the extra mile to help us out. His girls in the office, Sara and Autumn, are so efficient and helpful! You do not find service this great very often!

Kerns plumbing is prompt, efficient, and will tell you what you need to hear instead of what you want, even if it lowers the cost. Don't deal with the flaky and dishonest companies and call Kerns! I use Kerns for my own home and always recommend that my clients use Kerns as well.
