Ken's Drain Cleaning
Company Overview
Our team at Ken's Drain Cleaning boasts the heavy-duty machinery and expertise to address any drainage issue, with costs that fit any budget. The typical issues are fixed for just a mere $85, which includes two hours of skilled work.
Other companies demand exorbitant fees per hour for drain cleaning, often spending too long trying to upsell a total replacement of your system, which most times unwarranted. However, Ken's Drain Cleaning focuses on drain maintenance. What this means is we don’t use high-pressure sales methods to convince you to spend excessive amounts on unneeded plumbing work.
In simple terms, I aim to keep your drainage system and reduce your costs in the meantime.
OUR SERVICES:
* Sewer and drain snaking
* Sewer camera inspections & locations
* Hydro jetting for drains and sewers
We are a family-run operation based out of Olathe, Kansas. Founded in 2008, I have focused on drain cleaning stemming from a decade in the repair sector and my disappointment with the level of drain cleaning workmanship provided by many full-service plumbing companies. For over five years, I have been dedicated to offer a superior standard of drain maintenance with an focus on proactive solutions to ensure your pipes function well.
As an expert in drains, I identify drain problems in unexposed plumbing systems for drainage, waste, and ventilation in both residential and commercial settings. I resolve these concerns through the use of specialized tools while preserving the key elements of the affected system intact. I can then provide the customer information and options to stop or fix upcoming problems.
I have a passion for plumbing, and I have an even deeper commitment for helping people. I hold the belief that maintenance is an essential part of plumbing, and I am committed to delivering the finest service to meet your needs at affordable rates.

This was my second time using Ken to scope and clean out roots out of my main line. He was originally referred to me by my attorney and glad he was. Both times had excellent service. This last time I was on a real tight deadline and Ken had taken the time out of his day to talk through my situation and head out to my property to work on it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.
Angela L.As a Realtor, I have recommend this company countless times. The technicians are always professional and thorough.
My realtor called Ken's out to perform pre purchase inspection on my potential new home. I can't even give them a star because the main sewer opening was crimped almost closed - no way a scope was sent through that pipe!!! We later found out that an 8 ft section of main sewer line in front yard was completely gone -deteriorated!! There is no way my line was scoped because a scope would have hit clay! I have documentation of all claims including pictures of half gone pipe in front yard!! I wanted lines scoped to check for tree roots and found all of this!
Due to the fact that I was given inferior information impacted my decision to purchase home. It is a shame that we can't count on people to perform the job that they are contracted to do! No integrity or professionalism !! It may have been a human error given the heat of the market in April. However I should not be expected to pay for someone else's failures!
Had a slow drain - husband called the company with pink trucks because had a special - they came and cleaned it out - 2 weeks later slow again, they came again and this time said they could not get thru line so ran camera and we were told that the sewer line was failing and needed to be replaced. Thousands of $ now. We decided to get some bids. 2 other companies said we needed to replace line bids ran from 6-10 thousand $. Friend recommended we have Ken's out. He told us Ken's did not replace lines so would have no reason to upsale. If he told us line was failing then friend would give us recommendation for that. Called Ken's out - in 20 minutes they had the line open! but they did not stop there - they continued to work the line with larger equipment to clear out large amount of roots. (we live in an older neighborhood with lots of trees). No matter the deal or coupon, call Ken's to clear your drain. best, honest, hard working - got the job done. we will never call anyone else again!
Ken's drain cleaning inspected the drains to a house I recently purchased. After some time, we noticed a sewer smell coming from the basement and noticed that the floor drain P-trap was clogged and had been for some time. The inspection report clearly showed that they claimed it was not clogged, but there is no way they tested to see if it was clogged or not because the clean out plug was missing. I called them to follow up and have yet to get an answer or call back. Answered, condescending and rude. Horrible company.
Ken's Drain Cleaning sent a service tech out to scope my main sewer line. The tech was almost an hour late. As soon as the cap was removed it was obvious the line was clogged with roots and could not be scoped. The tech advised that his boss Ken instructed him to collect the full $150.00 from me. I don't believe the charge was warranted or fair. I don't mind paying a service fee for coming out but $150 is ridiculous. I feel they took complete advantage of me and the situation. I tried calling Ken and he refused to call me back. He was rude and unprofessional via text message. I will not ever recommend this company nor will the realtor that originally recommended him to me. Very dissatisfied!!!
Tyler O.Ken completed the sewer line inspection on a house I'm buying. He got to work immediately and invited me to watch as he scoped, explaining his findings along the way! I highly recommend him and will certainly use his services going forward!
Thanks Ken! I appreciate that you got me in on such short notice. You really helped me out!
Loved this guy and his work. It was good work, at a reasonable price, and helped work through some issues I was concerned about. The actual cleaning was of about 5 drains and the price was less than Rotorooter would charge me to walk in the door :).
Ken was a touch slow to respond to my calls, but I also wasn't urgent so no detraction of stars there.
Overall very satisfied and would easily recommend him again.
Martha W.Ken had a very busy schedule, and he still found a way to fit me into his day! He helped me find my septic tank. He was professional, timely, and knowledgable and nice. Thank You, Ken! I will definitely recommend you to anyone and use your services again, if I need them.
