My elderly neighbor needed a sump for her manufactured home. Kenosha Plumbing was recommended by a trusted friend. They came today and started working at 10 am. 8 hours later and the man who came was still hard at work. I know it was hot, dirty work but he plugged on until the job was complete. I should note that he did this by himself and was not some 25 year old. This is a company that needs all the recognition it can get as they work harder than anyone I've see up to this point. 5 stars just isn't enough for this company. If there were 10 stars, I'd give them 12. Great job, and thank you for being what people expect.

OK, we purchased a house only two weeks ago, but didn't start moving in until a week later. We were told prior to closing that all the things we asked to be fixed, were fixed. WRONG! As we were moving in, we noticed the smell of gas coming from the house. It was so bad, our new next door neighbor came over and said something. Long story short: we called the gas company and they came over. We had not 1, not 2, but THREE gas leaks in various appliances around the house. They shut the entire house down. We called Kenosha Plumbing on Friday, July 27, 2018. Unfortunately, they gave us a wait time for an estimate over the weekend. So, we were stuck all weekend without any hot water and without the ability to cook. On July 30, 2018, they came and gave us an estimate. I called them back to schedule an appointment to come fix it, because we liked the price of the estimate. They couldn't get us in the same day, unless we were willing to take an ""after hours"" appointment, in which they would have charged us an extra 125 bucks. We said no to that. But, the men came on July 31, 2018 to fix the leaks. They were very professional and they knew what they were doing. They even had to go back to the office to bring something they didn't have that they needed (an unusual part or something like that). Anyway, they showed up EARLY (10:20 a.m. and appointment was for between 11:00 to 12:00) for the appointment, and even with having to drive back to the office, they were done by about 11:30. They turned the gas back on for us and checked the appliances to make sure they were working. So, I would have given them 4 stars had they been able to perform the work when we first called (or at least been able to give us the estimate on the same day). Instead, we were out of hot water for 5 days, but the guys who actually fixed the leaks were very good. It is because we couldn't afford to pay the extra 125 bucks that we had to wait as long as we did, hence the reason for the 3 star rating.

Beware the pre-service authorization fee!!! No work done and now am out $105!!! Very disappointed with the customer service! I am the landlord for a upper/lower unit house in Kenosha where I needed service to check some basement gas lines and replace a stove valve in the upper unit. I was hopeful that I had given enough information to the ""office manager"" that I could be confident the job was going to be completed (I had previous service to the house to fix a kitchen drain that I was pleased with). The techs showed up 20 minutes earlier then the 2:30 scheduled appointment time and left without completing any work! They had misunderstood thinking that no one was at the house after the first floor tenant who had let them in had to leave. Had the techs knocked on the door of upper unit apartment where the work was to be completed they would have discovered the upper unit tenant was specifically home at this time to let them in. Okay, misunderstandings happen; but I then received a voicemail at 2:26 from the ""office manager"" telling me the hurried techs where about to leave - 4 minutes before the appointment was even supposed to begin! When I returned the call the office manager informed me that the techs had already moved on to their next job. This was at 2:42; the techs literally left within a 5-10 minute window after the scheduled start time and without getting in touch with me. The office manager then told me in order to get the techs back to the house that same day I would have to pay the ""after hours"" service fee along with time and a half for labor! I told the office manager that I would like to just cancel my service and find someone else to complete the work. She was very quick to remind me that the pre-service authorization had already been charged to my card and was unwilling to make any considerations for this one-off misunderstanding - after their hurried techs quickly left the job site with absolutely no work done!!! Kenosha Plumbing got their $105 service fee and yet lost me as a returning customer - terrible business practice!

Under no circumstances should you use Kenosha Plumbing services, even in an emergency. We made the mistake of using their services because we couldn't find anyone else to come out on a weekend to fix what we thought was a clogged garbage disposal which caused a pipe separation.

The clog ended up being the pipe, not the disposal. The plumber tried to remove the clog with chemicals first. A reputable plumber would not use chemicals to try to clear a clogged pipe. The chemicals backed up into the sink, damaging the stainless steel sink and also somehow got onto the countertop and nearby utensils, permanently damaging them which may be several $1,000's in damages. To his credit, he eventually cleared the clog legitimately. And we paid $300 for the service.

This was not a big issue at first because we are very forgiving and assumed they would help us fix the problem like a normal business. Since then, they have refused to acknowledge the issue, the owner hung up on us when we talked to her, called us liars even though we shared photographic evidence and won't return calls or emails.

We were able to talk to the plumber directly, initially, and he admitted to using chemicals in the drain. The next time we called him to get clarification on what he used, he hung up and blocked our number as soon as we asked what he used.

Any business that acts in this manner after they make a mistake should never be considered for any type of service and honestly should not be operating at all.

I can forgive them making a mistake, but not the way they have responded to it.

6/26 edit...As you can see with the owner's comment below, she has continually lied and tried to place the blame on the customer. They never legitimately offered to send anyone to check out the damage. We have requested someone to come out with no response and they never took a second to try to determine how they stained our countertops. She only responds through negative reviews to try to protect their image.

There a couple issues with her theory that we caused the damage ourselves that I hope she can address:

- They never came out to look at the damage themselves so they are completely guessing as to what caused it.

- The have in written statements confirmed that there was nothing on the countertops around the sink before the service was performed. A stain that large would have been spotted and documented by the plumber. So obviously the stain wasn't there before the service.

- We never used CLR on our countertops.

- Why would we use CLR on our countertops if there wasn't a stain already on it?

- What's more likely?

1. That the plumber that admitted to staining our sink with chemicals also accidentally stained the counter directly behind it while he was working,

or

2. That we decided to randomly rub CLR on a perfectly good, not stained countertop for some reason?

- We have reached out to Clorox, the makers of Liquid Plumber, and they confirmed that their product would cause that type of permanent staining if it was to get on laminate counters.

- Taking the previous points into consideration, if the stain wasn't there before the service, and showed up immediately after the service, where did it come from?

We had an emergency with no water in the house due to a blow out in the water line. They showed up quickly , very professional, allowed our household to have the water turned back on. Even gave us the information for a great water removal company. On top off all that they even reminded us to call our home owners insurance. We don't just have their businesses card on the fridge, their name and number our in permanent marker. Thank you all so much for the great work.

Woke up early this morning to a basement full of water. Apparently somewhere in the middle of the night, my hot water heater decided to stop working and burst. So I contacted Kenosha Plumbing (which was a referral from a friend) and they were at my house within 2 hours of us calling. The two men who were here Dan and Terry were probably the most professional and personable men. They were here removed and installed in an hour and a half. I could not have asked for a better service and knowledgable men.
Thank you for a job well done.

We hired Kenosha Plumbing for a leaky faucet and clearing a tub drain. After clearing the drain our renters noticed the ceiling below starting to stain. When clearing the drain, they had created a small leak in the trap so came out again to repair. They took direction from the renter (without authorization from the owner) to replace the whole trap. The plumber used a sawsall to saw through the old trap and in doing so also cut through a nearby electrical wire taking out power to half the upstairs. Water started dripping through the ceiling and the renter voiced concerns and asked if they could use a bucket or something to catch the water. He was told it was normal and won't be much. The ceiling gave out and water pour over their couch. Due to time constraints because we were selling the home, I paid a local electrician cash to fix the electrical damage and patch the ceiling. Kenosha plumbing then demanded payment and threatened to initiate a mechanical lien if not paid. The cost and damage they caused was due to pure negligence. I would not recommend doing business with a company with such poor ethics as Kenosha Plumbing.

These guys were useless. I have an apartment building and called them out to fix a slow drain on a bathroom sink. The guy spent an hour on the sink. He refused to use the multiple spare parts that I always keep on hand. The same PVC pieces that he went out to his truck and came back with so he could charge 3 times the price. In the end, I got a $360 dollar bill and he told me I needed a new sink. The sink is only 2 years old. He did do a good job gluing everything up so I had to cut everything that he charged me for back out.

It started with a recommendation from a friend. Very pleasant initial phone call to set up appointment. The guy was here ON TIME, used shoe covers, finished the job in a snap, and the price was very reasonable. Will recommend to everyone!!! CALL THEM TODAY for your plumbing needs. You won't be disappointed.
