David showed up exactly on time, quickly confirmed the problem and had a new faucet installed in minutes. No more leaks!
Prompt, highly competent and fairly priced--couldn't ask for more.

I considered myself a good customer, as I had used Ken Mays Plumbing several times in the past. Recently, a technician came to my home because I have a kitchen faucet leak. The technician took one look at the faucet and said I need a new one. He called the office to report that no work was done, but the owner told him to charge me. The technician and I were both surprised that I would need to be charged. Disappointed, I asked how much it was; he told me the fee was $128. I was shocked. I called the office myself to speak to the owner. I explained that the technician spent 5 seconds in my home and did no work; I thought $128 was unreasonable. The owner, Joe, was very rude to me. He said that he charges $128 per hour for plumbing work. Again I explained that the technician was in my home for 5 seconds and did no work. He said, ""So, you expect me to send someone all the way out there for free?"" I said, ""No, but $128 is outrageous; no work was done. I still have a leak and I will need a plumber to return to install a new faucet. In addition, I am a good customer, and I know that your technician stopped here on his way back to the office."" Joe then became hostile. He rudely told me, ""Well, if you aren't willing to pay anything, it looks like you just got a free service call, and you should find yourself a new plumber."" As I was expressing my shock that he was willing to lose a good customer, he hung up on me.
Nobody should be treated this way, certainly not by the owner of a company in a small town. I will definitely take my business elsewhere.

Great service by Zack. He arrived on a Saturday on time and quickly resolved the problem. Would definitely use this company again.

We needed a plumber at night in a hurry. They called us back within 10 minutes, were at the house in 40, and had the job done in under 30.
The prices are about standard; don't expect a bargain, but then you get what you pay for.
The plumber was polite, professional, and friendly.
There is simply no other plumber to call in Napa.

We were in the middle of a DIY bathroom project and decided we needed help. We called Ken Mays Plumbing and they came out the next day & gave us an estimate & a clear explanation of the work to be done. We scheduled for two days later and Michael came to begin work. He did all that was needed & we felt he went above and beyond in his work. He got it all finished in the one day.We highly recommend them and will call them first if we ever need a plumber again. Thanks to Dave and Michael for the great job.

Long Story short, 2yr old water heater went out and lived with no hot water for 3 days. Still under warranty so called Ken Mays plumbing. Mike gave great advice but referred me to call later to schedule an appt for a tech to come out. Courteous staff set appt next day. Ryan came during window of expected arrival and was very helpful. Educated me on the 'whys' and answered any questions I had - very knowledgable and his expertise showed it! Problem solved - control valve unit malfunctioned and replaced within 45 minutes.
Highly Recommend Ken Mays Plumbing. Professional, punctual, and above/beyond honest service.

Earthquake in Napa...OH NO...water heater doesn't light. PG&E said I needed a new thermo-coupler. Water heater was only 2 years old. I called a plumbing company who said they didn't deal with my brand and suggested I call Ken Mays. Had to wait a day without hot water, but golly, all of Napa was in an emergency. Great young man showed up. He even snaked my front commode because it was draining so slow. Seems an air freshener bottle fell in during the quake and we flushed in the dark (power was out) and locked it in the toilet trap. He warned us not to push it down because it would cause sewer problems. Told us to lift the commode, and if we couldn't get it, to get a new commode. GREAT. Four days later PG&E is putting in a new gas line and meter. When they come to relight the water heater they find the view window broken and silver tape over it. They tagged it as hazardous and said it needed repair. Called Ken Mays next day. After a couple of calls ""Joe"" relayed to me through his receptionist that they would be installing a new water heater free of cost. WOW. Late in the day the great young man came with a new view window. He did a repair. They seem to have sorted out how to repair the view window. My daughter wants me to get PG&E back to look at it, which I probably will but so far they have been very responsible. I was worried I would have to take them to court to get satisfaction.

Ken Mays is the plumber to call in Napa. They have done frequent service calls at our church and have always come through. Recently, they replaced an ancient sewage pump for our gym, a complicated job way down in a deep hole. No complaints, cleaned up after themselves and it solved our problem. Good thing too, because a couple months later we had dozens of people sleepng in our gym after the quake. They even took time out of their earthquake repairs to service plumbing problems at the disaster center.
Ken Mays plumbing knows what they are doing and are good citizens of Napa.

After the Napa earthquake, our home suffered quite a bit of damage. One issues was our water heater broke the straps and moved off the spill pan. I called ken mays and was able to get some help the very next day. Joe showed up, inspected the unit for safety, moved it back to where it should be and retightened the straps. They were so helpful and I won't call anyone else for my plumbing needs.

These guys are AMAZING!!!.. I have had 3 different opportunities to work with them and I just can't say enough. From their prompt service, to their friendly techs to their overall knowledge of their industry. They are truly THE BEST!!!!! I will never use another plumbing company...
