Short Story: RUDE & Tried to rip me off with extra unnecessary prices and materials charges.

Long Story: My home warranty company uses Kelley Service Company as their plumbing contractor. My water heater broke yesterday and I had a contractor I work with help turn off the water and diagnose the issue. Because I had the home warranty, I figured it would be fully or mostly covered under the warranty as the representatives said. After his visit today, I get a price quote of out of pocket costs from my home warranty company for $200. Kenneth was already charging the warranty company $560 according to the price breakdown. In the non covered out of pocket costs, he listed the price of a drain pan at $40.73 and T&P (which I got clarified is the Temperature and Pressure Gauge) for $80.29. I did a quick Home Depot search for the prices of each and they range between $10-20 for each. When I had my home warranty company call him directly to ask about the charges, he said he was currently out on the field and would have someone from the office call back. He hung up. When no one from the office called back an hour and 30 minutes later, I called him directly. He then informed me "everyone from the office had gone home." I asked if he could answer my questions about the materials and he again said he was out on the job. I told him I would only take 5 minutes of his time and he hung up.

We dealt with Kenneth Kelley and had pipe issues during this crazy Texas Winter storm. He not only came out early; instead of Monday appointment he had an opening Saturday. We have been without water since Wednesday so he is an Angel. He was able to fix pipe right away! He was a professional, checked and double checked everything to make sure piping was still good especially since the weather we had. We are certainly recommending him to everyone we know. We finally found a plumber that we can trust!

PLEASE do not use them! They broke the drain in our home and are blaming us and they will not repair their damage. Their BBB rating is an "F"!! If I could give them zero stars I would.
