No plumbing issue is fun....we had to replace a sewer pump in our basement unexpectedly. I left a voicemail late that evening, they returned my call the next morning and got the pump, check valves, and lid replaced in under an hour. The service tech Thomas was extremely polite, wore shoe covers, cleaned up after he was done, explained what was replaced and fixed, and then left the manual with the new replacement date with us so we don't have to guess in the future. This seems like the basics for any business but getting this kind of service is so far and few between these days. It was a welcomed experience for an unwelcomed project.

They can improve their business by sticking to the cap on the estimate. They did not call this customer to let them know why. Our bill was higher than top end of quote. We reported a leak and told it was our problem - they guaranteed it. Not until we provided a picture of a weak solder job did they finally commit to making the repair. By then we had water damage.

We needed a new whole house water filter and softener. Gave Kellermeier a call because of the Yelp reviews. This company is terrific. They also saved me about $1300 over a very well known softener company. They were knowledgeable, friendly and came right out to our home and installed these. The tech that came out was great. Arrived on time and got right to work with the install. There was a lot to clean up afterward and he did it all with a great attitude. I highly recommend this company with all of your plumbing needs.

Best experience with a service call by far!! From initial call to end result! Frank was personable and based on our situation we decided to work with them because he cares about his employees and customers. They were out here to review and fix our issue within 2 hours!! Mike was amazing- our house is a mess with kids and dogs everywhere as we are just moving in. He took it all in stride if the kids asked him a question he answered with a smile on his face! I am very appreciative of their hard work and accommodating business practice. We will never use anyone else and will recommend them to anyone

The first week of Nov. '17 we had Kellermeier Plumbing out to check over the condition of our toilet and had asked you have the closet flange replaced due to concerns we had. The ""professional"" said the flange was good, but changed the guts in the toilet without asking and billed us for it all, $180. The new ones would occasionally stick and toilet would run, but we thought it would improve. This weekend, 3/17/18, there is water all over the floor around the toilet. We called Kellermeier, granted we understand it's a saturday. Guy tells us there is no warranty. Wants $289 to show up plus $135 an hour. When I say that's unfair, his ""professional"" missed something, he goes into a rant about how he has to pay his guy, how he has a $60,000 truck..... the whole run around. I asked for a regular charge, as its only been 5 months. He tells me no, it's my plumbing, I own it, my problem. Says he can send a ""professional"" Tuesday.... again, I have water all over around my toilet (and I checked, it was coming from underneath, and I told him this). Not his problem he says, so I hung up. I pulled toilet myself, wax ring never sealed to toilet, you can see where the water was coming over it, the plastic gasket on it was kinked in one spot, and THE CLOSET FLANGE IS CRACKED..... so either his ""PROFESSIONAL"" reinstalled a toilet on broken flange, or cracked it installing the toilet and bolts. As others have posted, they'll leave you out to soak after they don't and won't don what you asked the first time, and break your stuff. They won't even try to help in a time of need.

Would not recommend! They charged over $500 to replace a garbage disposal and install a new RO system. (We already purchased both units) RO was the bulk of the cost which didn't even work after they left. Called to let them know something was wrong-they told us over the phone to try a couple things but ultimately didn't seem to care. After consulting the RO maker turns out the guy threw away a part which is why it didn't work! Let them know and asked to reduce the bill a little since they didn't install it correctly and didn't care to make it right. They said no...they had to pay the guy for his time. I doubt their employees make $95/HR. So disappointing that they wouldn't stand by their work and make the job right. PS...the sink started leaking after they were there.

I promised Kellermeier Plumbing I would make sure that everyone interested in researching their company and want to know honest feedback would get to know about my experience. So, here goes. . .

I hope you don't have any problems with their work or them standing behind it or you will probably not be happy with the outcome. I have never taken the time to do a rate and review but to future individuals in need of plumbing services, I want to make sure you know about my experience! There are a lot of GREAT plumbers in West Michigan. I have worked with Godwin Plumbing and K & S Plumbing in the past and they are FANTASTIC! I was ""assigned"" Kellermeier. NIGHTMARE!

I had my first experience with Kellermeier Plumbing through a referral made by American Home Shield Warranty department. Through a random assignment of this warranty department I was directed to them for a $75 warranty technician fee to fix a bathroom stoppage. American Home Shield contracted them on Thursday, 7/27/17 and Kellermeier would not schedule the appointment until Monday, 7/31/17 because, ""American Home Shield won't pay for our emergency rates so we can't schedule anything before Monday."" 7/31/17 arrived as scheduled, friendly technician who ""cleared the lines"" but we needed a new wax ring to install the toilet again after the service. New toilet installed on 8/1/17. Toilet stoppage 8/2/17.

Called Kellermeier who stated we had to contact American Home Shield for a ""recall"" so they could get ""paid"". Spend 3 hours on hold to get the recall from American Home Shield. . .
8/3/17 called in AM to get confirmation of time for plumbing recall. ""We won't be able to get to that before Monday, 8/7/17"". . .
By this point, I was getting frustrated and explained that we needed a working toilet which had not been fixed on the first visit and need someone before the weekend. The secretary told me she would look for the recall notice and talk to her office staff then get back with me.
My husband spoke to them on 8/3/17 and was told they would be at the house 8/4/17 in the AM.
8/4/17 at 2:28pm, Kellermeier Plumbing notified my husband that, ""We won't be coming out because of the way your wife spoke to our secretary.""
8/4/17 spoke to the owner of Kellermeier Plumbing and asked if my conversation with the secretary was recorded. He said he wasn't sure. He said they didn't get a recall order from American Home Shield. Then the story changed to, ""we did our job, there's another issue we told your husband about."" ""my secretary didn't deserve to be yelled at"", ""we told American Home Shield we wouldn't work with you because of the way you talked to my secretary."" wait a minute, so American Home Shield DID send you a recall notice?! ""That's it. I'm not saying anything else. You're just twisting my words.""
I'm a firm believer in the bible proverb, ""You reap what you sew"". I'm ok with reaping what I sew, not sure how that is going to work out for Kellermeier Plumbing.
