Went to the Auburn showroom today, the worse customer service I've ever received, ever. A employee by the name of Mary booked the appointment yesterday, took the plumbers name, knew he had not purchased from Keller in 6 years, with very good reason. Yet, yesterday Mary took the appointment.

I arranged to leave work early, my Mother came out to go with me, she had highly recommend that I only use Keller Supply as she has done 43 projects, home remodels, apartment remodels throughout Queen Anne & Capital Hill using the Interbay location. I appreciated my Mother coming out to help me choose fixtures for the master, guest and lower level mini master, all being gutted for a remodel in the large home I bought.

Mary greeted us by telling us she would not work with me, convinced I was a waste of time and I was going to go elsewhere. Mary is incredibly high strung, obviously over taxed as her stress level was noticeable, and the rudest individual I've ever been serviced by.

I too am in a service business, I get how some clients request information, bids, basically your time. But when you are a salesperson it's all about the customer experience.

If Mary was only going to turn me away today, why did she book the appointment? Why was she so aggressive towards me from the moment she said ""hello""? Even after sharing that my family has used Keller for 43 projects, she something like ""too bad"" as she was unlocking the door.

It was one of, if not the most bizarre and rude experience I've encountered.

I have reached out to the branch manager and corporate, I'm sure nothing will be done, but those of you living in the south end, avoid this location, go elsewhere.

We needed to upgrade the fixtures for two of our bathrooms, and Mary's assistance was exceptional! We discussed our specific requirements regarding looks, features, and compatibility with current plumbing. Mary researched styles and specs; and presented several options for review and more discussion. She was always pleasant, helpful, and timely. I would highly recommend this location, and especially the service from Mary.

This was the worst customer service we have ever received ! We came in to look at bathroom fixtures. The woman behind the counter asked us what we needed. My husband said ""we have a couple of questions"". Her response...You need an appointment . Come back in a week."" My husband repeated that we just had a few questions. The Keller woman said ""when is your contractor starting?"". We said ""right away"". Then she told us he should have already ordered. "" She turned away from us and went back to talking on the phone. Needless to say, we were humiliated . Don't go here if you expect even sub par service. I can't speak for the rest of the staff but the 55-60 year old woman needs to get a new profession.

Mary called to cancel my appointment due to the fact they were behind because of snow and bad weather. They could not reschedule right away. I asked if I could come look without an appointment since our contractor is waiting. I was told no and that they haven't done much work with my contractor and maybe I should go elsewhere. I went to Ferguson and they were eager for our business.

We may be new to home remodels, but we did not need to be experts to know that the products and customer service at Keller were top notch. Our designer accompanied us to Keller, where Bobbie worked with us to find the perfect fittings for our new kitchen and two bathrooms. We were pleased to see that they carried products in different price ranges, but all the brands we saw were reputable and well made. Bobbie knew her products inside-and-out, which allowed us make decisions more quickly and also be more confident in our choices. We will definitely be back for all our future faucet and fitting needs!

There are a lot of details involved in ordering plumbing fixtures. You have to worry about finish matches, style, size, availability, etc. you also have to worry about things you don't see, like diverter valves and whether the valves have shut off screws, etc. It takes an incredible amount of research and concentration to work up an order or a quote that is right the first time, every time. Just as an example, Kohler has several thousand bathtubs on their website and in their catalogs. There are stacks and stacks of catalogs and thousands of products that they have to be familiar with. They are professionals at what they do.

The ladies who work in the Auburn Keller are top notch. I trust them completely to order everything that will please me, and keep my plumber happy. Bobbie did my latest order and even having spent a couple of days on the web, I would have ordered half the wrong things.

If you don't get immediate service, you should be patient with them. All the ladies are doing multiple things at once. They track inventory, check with vendors on delivery dates, track down parts that are missing, get prices and availability, etc, etc. Every time I've walked in there to look around they are all on the phone or the computer with multiple people lined up to get hold of them. They are working very hard. They are not ignoring you.

The best way to get their full attention is to make an appointment. If you do that, they will devote as much uninterrupted time as you need. If you send them an email with pictures and ideas of what you want, it will make the meeting more efficient. They will be able to line up some things in advance.

I always have the plumber come out before installation to check out the job and unwrap the plumbing fixtures. I've never had these people make a mistake on an order.

I went there this morning with my father looking for a jacuzzi tub. we spent about 10 minutes wandering around while one person sat at a desk working on her computer, another stood near the front entrance working on her computer and the third was completely engaged in helping the only other customer in the store. Not a single salesperson acknowledge us or let us know that someone would be with us soon. I will be taking my business elsewhere for that new jacuzzi tub and recommend the same to all my facebook friends and family.
