Allen S.We have been using Kelleher on our commercial and residential properties for close to 10 years now. Their response time is fast, and they are very knowledgable. On multiple occasions I have had them out for emergency repairs (nights, weekends) and they were fair on pricing despite having to pull a tech out of bed.
Edward H.A pipe froze in our home on the coldest weekend of the year, and we were in a panic for a plumber. Someone suggested we call Kelleher. Despite not being a current customer of Kelleher, and surely quite busy with many other rush jobs, they quickly scheduled a crew to visit our home. They arrived within the designated hours; called before they arrived; called when they'd be delayed a half-hour; and the nice guys quickly isolated the burst pipe location inside a wall, discretely cut a hole to access it, fixed the pipe, replaced the sheetrock plug, and were done in 45 minutes. Incredible!
Michael W.We have used Kelleher Plumbing on numerous occasions. We are repeat customers. They have replaced our hot water heater, unfrozen pipes, replaced faucets, repaired a leaking shower pipe, and even extended a gas line. They are very responsive and customer oriented. They are our go-to plumbing company.
Changed out a HW heater a few months ago. Easy to deal with, fair price, arrived on time and did a good job. A merchant that does what he says when he says he's going to do it, is polite and creates no ""surprises"" is worth five stars in my book.
Called to service a clogged drain at investment property, they came only to say they don't do clogged drains -What??? 1) What kind of plumber doesn't do clogged drains 2) Why did they accept the service call??? Then to make matters worse they ""repaired"" something that was not even broken just to justify the service call... when I called them on it and gave the irrefutable proof it was not broken they got nasty and belligerent with me! Guess they didn't like getting caught in a lie...
Awful experience -really sad its sooo tough to get honest and fair professionals!
pl c.I didn't do my homework and ended up paying $1500 ""stupid tuition"" to have to company exchange out a completely working 6 year old water heater 18 months ago and now we have issue with CO leak. Talk about feeling stupid! Here is the long story... 2 winter ago, we had a house full of guests staying for the winter holidays. Our demand for the hot water shot up significantly. On one of the trips down to the basement to bring up more supply, I noticed that there was a small pool of water by one of the 2 water heaters on the floor. We called these guys in since they have been ""our plumbers"" for several years and came highly recommended by our neighbors. And 1 week and $1500 later we got ourselves a new water heater. Yay! Although, I never noticed any more water on the basement floor and asked so when the crew came to install the new one. They told me some crazy ""the metal contracts when water is cooled (we had turned off this heater by this time), that's why there is no water leaking"". It didn't sound right at the time since Logically the hole should have gotten bigger if metal contacts. We just wanted the problem solved so we went ahead with it.
We recently had the house energy audit by Mass Save. The auditor told us that the new, not the old, water heater didn't pass the backdraft test and is leaking CO Back into house. And since the other heater next to it is functioning fine. He doesn't think it's a chimney issue. Add salt to the wound is that after I researched on the Internet, I now realized the small pool of water on the floor was a normal phenomenon for the heater to relieve additional pressure under high demand.
You bet we are not calling them back ever. I am now debating if I should complain to BBB and the company owner directly.
