The servicemen are very professional and get the job done. I wish I could just hire them without having to go through the billing dept. at the office. They bill for the time the servicemen are there plus a $90 minimum. When my home needed repair to a pipe AND some minor duct repair they sent two different people and billed me the minimum plus time spent for two seperate trips instead of consolidating the work in one trip. Their ability to do it all is certainly true so long as you know you are going to pay for each technician.

I purchased a water heater in 2010 and I have had problems with it every year since purchase. It was under a warranty and it covered the parts and I had to pay labor costs. The response to service calls was slow. Not happy and would be cautious about doing business with them.

Our A/C went out last night. We called at 8am, a technician was at the house by 9am, and cool air was blowing by 9:30am. During this endless heat wave, we are very grateful for Kelleher's prompt service!

We had some water spots on the ceiling from the second floor bathroom, and called to have someone look at it. We were really impressed with the level of customer service and Tony's willingness to take time and explain what he was doing and why he was doing it. He even fixed our dishwasher while he was there.

Bad and Good both. Good for oil delivery, whereas some places like Southside Fuel and Woodfin close the office early on Saturday and do not have dispatch or an on-call service - - Kelleher does. Not only do they deliver Saturday as late as 5 to 6:30pm, but they take your calls even if the office part is closed already. And someone does call you back, unlike at Southside Fuel, where you can leave 3 messages on Saturday and get a return call Monday at noon if you're lucky. Not only that but occasionally, they have been known to deliver on Sunday if snow is coming and they couldn't squeeze you in on Saturday, they will make it up to you by coming the next morning, and although they don't make it a regular practice, they've made exceptions.

However the furnace repair is another story all together. Yes they really know their stuff, I'll give them credit for that and they work on just about every kind of heating system, but the service is lousy as far as being able to get the ball rolling, because of all the hoops you have to jump through. It is a paperwork issue and non-friendly office procedures. They don't want cash or even a cashier check or money order, but only a credit card or debit card, and even with a pre-paid VISA gift card they balked at it and frowned upon it, like somehow I was beneath them to be helped by them, because my GREEN CASH wasn't good enough. I have paid cash before for oil delivery by them and with no problem, but for repairs they have a different set of rules.

The girls in the office also put you on hold a lot, like they have to check their script to see what to say, or like they have to run everything through Papa Bear to make sure it's ok. As if they don't know what to do.

Then to top if off, I've only gotten 3 hrs a sleep per night for 3 weeks due to ""hammer noise"", a sound that a boiler makes when it has air in the system, and they weren't even empathetic to my situation. I also explained that I've had 3 other people let me down and although each one has made some progress, the problem still isn't fixed and a new problem was created in the process, but one of the owners/ managers seemed skiddish to help me because 3 other people had, and I guess he didn't want to get involved.

That same manager also said he would not help me because I was upset, so he said, ""I will not help you today."" Yeah I'm upset, because I've had little sleep, and no one has fixed the problem after 3 weeks, which I've paid for 3 times, and now they want to have some deeply involved registration / app process and being difficult to work with and an uncaring attitude. You bet, I'm a little annoyed.

The owner/ manager acted like I am somehow beneath him as far as helping me with my problem, and I say he is beneath me for putting me in a position for denying to help me and let me go on with no help, no fix to the situation and still no rest. Instead of saying, . . . gee I see you have had a rough time, let us help you - - but no instead he said he would not help me. Lousy rules, lousy management, and uncaring. And to do this near Christmas (Dec 11) - - won't soon be forgotten. And Merry Xmas to you. Bah-humbug.

One of the A/C units stopped working. Called and had someone out within 2.5 hours. It did take him a long time to find out what was wrong, but that's probably because a breaker had been chewed up. Overall great service and the technician was friendly and even ""tiptoed"" as to not wake my sleeping baby! Will use again, although hopefully not for awhile ;)

I have used this company for my cooling needs but recently called them for heating issues. They arrived on time, did a great job and left the work area clean. I have nothing but good things to say about them. The one time I had a billing question, Mr. Kelleher resolved itfairly. I will continue to use them.

** Simple fix ** cost too much $$$$ This company nickel and dimes you for everything and even double bills, which is not right. I had an issue and needed a new heating element, which takes 10 minutes to get the part from the truck and fix. They did not have the part on the truck and had to go get one. Because of this, I was charged a delivery fee $35 and billed more for additional time. Thinking everything was working, the tech left and give me a bill for $290. 10 minutes later I noticed the thermostat flashed and it rebooted. Concerned, I got on the phone and called and left a vm and stated the issue/what was happening on the company's voicemail. I also stated I wanted to make sure this is not another call (billable) since this issue was a result of what the tech did the day before. Next morning they checked it out and said it was because the unit was not put back together correctly. Now, I got another bill which was not actually given to me, but told to me over the phone for another $99. I called in and talked to the company and they stated the 2nd visit was not part of the same problem and was not going to work with me but could help me by lowering the bill from $99 to $62, really!! They billed me for time they didn't spend the day before to test and then billed me again the next day. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!! THIS IS YOUR WARNING!!! Use anyone else!!over charged by $138

Really great service. We had not used this company before. I had a water heater leak early this morning. I had to leave for work and we were expecting 3 inches of snow. They came out before lunch and quickly solved the problem. They even went out for a part and came back. Very nice plumber.
