A native of Virginia Beach, Scott Kellam entered the HVAC and electrical contracting industry in the 1970s. The family business was his training ground, thanks to his father and grandfather. Motivated by their guidance, he founded Kellam Mechanical in 1995. As the business grew, he constructed a commercial space in 2007. The foundation of his business's success lies in his commitment to customer care and superior workmanship. Scott Kellam, a lifelong resident of Virginia Beach possesses a strong passion for HVAC and electrical work. He started in his teens in the 1970s with family-owned businesses, Princess Anne Plumbing and Kellam and Eaton. He graduated from Kellam High School in 1979. He later earned a degree in Business Administration from Elon University in 1983. Community participation holds great importance for him, including his role on the board of the Virginia Beach Education Foundation. He was Vice President from 2010 to 2012 and President from 2012 to 2014 for the local chapter of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America. He keeps active memberships with the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, and Gas Qualified Contractors to ensure Kellam Mechanical stays connected to the professional community.
