I just wanted to explain the level of unprofessionalism From Kelco Plumbing Lake Hopatcong,Nj
I Contacted the Owner he could not give me a answer as to what time he could send his crew instead he told me he would call after 12 . However he never called and Sent guys to my house
Without notifying me so I told them nicely that I never received a call from the Owner therefore I already hired another company to do the work
Then Several hours later I received a call from the Coward Owner Verbally abusing me with disgusting language
Based on the Owners Actions
I know beyond a shadow of the doubt
I Choose the Best which is All Clear Plumbing

Had a problem with no hot water. Bryant tried to replace a part Bradford White told him I needed. Bryant came as soon as the part was in his hands. Upon replacing the part, he showed me, the entire insides were black. Well, new water heater was needed. He went immediately to get a new one and had his 2 workers come to remove the old and install the new. Record time and put back in place everything they had to remove from the area. NO ONE BETTER THAN KELCO!!!

Bryant and his team at Kelco are very good. Kelco replaced my boiler and water heater several years ago. The water heater failed (leaked) after about 5 years later, but was under warranty from Burnham. Although there was a labor charge (not covered by the manufacturer's warranty) Kelco was fair in there rates. I called Kelco early in the morning and was back up and running before noon.
I've since had to call Kelco several times for plumbing emergencies ( I live in an area where the water is corrosive) and he has responded and fixed the problem quickly. He has stated to me that he understands and tries to make sure that his customers are back in service quickly if an emergency happens.
While most of times there is no one to answer the main line, an emergency number is provided and Bryant is quick to call back. Fast and courteous service. Recommended!

They offer good services, professional and friendly. Their pricing is fair as long as only one individual is doing the job. They wanted to charge me one time because their was a new individual who was training, thankfully I wasn't charged. Nobody is there to answer the phone so many times went with a different outfit.

Just to be clear. as you can no longer see my original nagative review. kelco charged $700 on labor for the work they did under warranty to replace their water tank which failed after 4 years. And the replacement tank was free! In any case, thier replacement efforts failed city inspection and they were forced to come back to correct the problem. This time, when they returned to fix the failed issue they did not charge this time.

also. all negative reviews for this company, including my first negative review from earlier this year can no longer be seen on this site. So I felt compelled to clarify the story of my last interaction with this company.

Fast, professional, courteous service. Called with an emergency, not only did they get to my home within a half hour but they took the time to take care of an additional non-emergency issue. Respected my home, cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely recommend.

I'm very impressed with Kelco. We were quoted one price, their technician charged more and they proactively resolve the problem immediately. I really appreciate an honest company and Kelco is one.

★★☆☆☆

Two star rating as opposed to one because they are responsive and friendly, however they do not stand by their work so any rework that is required will be billed at normal rates.

This company was a sub-contractor for a home renovation project that we did which involved taking down two walls which divided the kitchen from the living room and dining room. This resulted in a loss of baseboard heat runs on those walls. When the owner (Bryant) came to do the estimate, we expressed concern about how he would make up for the loss of those runs and he assured us that he would use ""hi-efficiency"" heat runs around the perimeter of the room to make of the difference. We never saw his specific estimate (shame on us) but in the end, he did not use ""hi-efficiency"" baseboard everywhere and in fact had no baseboard in what was our dining room. The loss of the baseboard there and the addition of multiple windows in the space has left the room much cooler than other areas of the house. This was pointed out to him via our GC instantly. Over the course of 3 months he made all kinds of arguments as to why the heat he installed was sufficient and blamed it on first a faulty thermostat and then an inefficient boiler. Although there had been no mention of issues with our boiler initially, we requested an estimate to make his suggested improvements and made an agreement with the GC that if he addressed our initial concern by adding a heat run, we would hire him to do the additional boiler work. As fate would have it, we lost heat soon after and had to have his crew to the house 3 times on emergency calls to replace parts that we had given him the ok to replace but couldn't get him to schedule. This cost us almost us $1,500. Then when it came time to address the additional heat run issue, he demanded an additional $500 plus another $1,300 for other work he claimed we needed on the boiler and if we didn't allow him to do the other work, the cost for the additional heat run would be even more. All of this is bad enough. On top of it, Bryant communications with us went from gruff to downright rude during the course of multiple conversations. Even his GC chose to provide us a credit to hire someone else to install the heat run to avoid having to deal with him. His guys were nice enough but one has to question why it took them 3 emergency runs to fix the boiler. All they ended up doing was replace a zone value and an expansion tank. Both of which could and should have been done on the first call.
