Had to get B Powered Electric to come out and check my generator since they installed it. Come to find out Keefe's employees shut the gas off to the generator. It was a separate valve they they did not have to touch! Makes me wonder since they also do generator installation also was this done to get a service call? Keefe's is also supposed to do plumbing so they should have known the valve that was turned off had nothing to do with the has feeding the house. Had to pay $100 for BPowered to turn on a valve and bleed the air out of the line.

Update: I asked for justification for the $3387 estimate to install a 240v outlet listing amounts for parts, labor, etc. I am either still waiting or they refuse this amount of detail. The parts should be no more than $150 which means they expect to be paid like brain surgeons for labor.

They will way overcharge you for everything ,beware . Quoted a double ground rod install for $1,900 , thats hammering 2 copper rods and connecting a copper wire x 3 screws total . $ 827 to install a $60 surge protector . Get another opinion/quote before hiring these guys .

My AC was shutting off and on in the extreme heat of August. I have a home warranty, and they sent out another company who made the problem worse by giving us the wrong advice which caused the entire system to shut down.
I've had good experiences with Keefe's in the past, so I called at 7:30am and they said they'd squeeze me in the same day.
Mohamed came out and fixed everything with ease. He showed me what the problem was and how the previous company had made it worse. He even gave me some examples of some good ""dumb thermostats,"" since our smart thermostat has been acting up. I appreciated his skill and knowledge. The price was reasonable.
In the past, I did sign up for their contract for yearly maintenance, but found that the technician who came out gave me a laundry list of things to fix that weren't exactly high priority. I found this overwhelming, so I didn't renew the contract. It's probably a better value to just get annual or biannual checks on the AC and heating rather than signing up for the contract.
Overall, very grateful Keefe's saved us on day with feels like temperatures of 115.

We've been paying $20/mo. for almost 2 years for preventative maintenance which by all indications has never been performed. Downstairs A/C stopped working last week, they came out and proceeded to bill $428 for leak detection which the tech admitted he did not do. Now it's not working again. Either don't charge us or do the work. It's not hard. Only giving one star to complete the review: I don't pay people for breathing my air for 2 hours.

They have repeatedly canceled scheduled appointments for a/c repair service...the air conditioning unit is new from Keefe's. We supposedly got the best possible a/c unit that they carry. Their prices for 'necessary repairs' were outrageous before we purchased an a/c system from them, and after.

Wow, I wish I had read the other reviews before reaching out to this company because I reached out to them a couple of days ago to inquire about generator service, basic oil change, and annual servicing and received a confirmation that they would be coming out yesterday to service, and I replied to that confirmation that I would be waiting and guess what, they didn't show up. They claim that they made a call, but I don't know why I would need to call when both sides had already confirmed and as a CEO of a nationwide company I blocked my calendar off for the afternoon just waiting for these clowns and nothing. And my cell phone does actually have a voicemail service, but of course no voicemail left. Now I'm looking at one star reviews, several of them just over the past few days to weeks, and wishing I had looked at these reviews ahead of time. Si- this company is totally unreliable, overpromises, and under-delivers. Unprofessional and no regard for the value of someone's time.

I had my HVAC system replaced with this company. I regret going with this company as they are not prompt in handling situations that occur for the customer. Im currently waiting for an appointment to have the duct replaced and it is 5pm. Mind you the duct has caused significant damage to my ceiling and it is of no concern to them. When calling your shuffled around and rarely are you able to speak to management. Ive had many instances where Ive had to call them out for the unit that is brand new, replaced 1 1/2 years ago. After waiting the entire day they showed up with nothing to fix the duct work and then made excuses as to why they could not do the job that was scheduled today. So unprofessional. After all of that they offered the customer nothing to help the customer. Only excuses and a ceiling that is cracked still because they were not professional enough to fix the problem

On APRIL 16, 2024 the salesperson for Keefe's, David Dobbins, came out to provide an estimate for a whole house generator. Mr. Dobbins was very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. He told us that the company had six (6) installation crews so once the permit was approved by the City of Slidell the install could begin soon after. He also mentioned that the City Permit office sometimes is slow to process permits. I signed a contract with Keefe's for a 26 Kw whole house generator (Briggs & Stratton) that same day. Mr. Dobbins said he would submit the request for the permit that day. On MAY 20, 2024 we still had not heard anything from Keefe's about the permit so we placed a call to Keefe's office and was informed by the young lady who answered the phone that they had not as yet received the permit from the City. We once more waited patiently to hear back from Keefe's. During the second week of JUNE, around the 10th or 11th, we decided to make a direct call to the City of Slidell's Permit office and was told that the permit was approved and sent to Keefe's on MAY 5, 2024. We were irritated, dismayed and angry because we knew we were being lied to this whole time. An installation crew showed up the very next week around JUNE 17th and worked all day long digging the line for the gas piping, running the piping to the spot where the generator is placed and installing the generator itself. The crew supervisor told us through casual conversation that Keefe's only had ONE installation crew and was working on hiring more employees in order to acquire more installation crews. On JUNE 24, 2024, the generator and the installation work was inspected and approved by our natural gas company, ATMOS. On JUNE 25, 2024 a service tech from Keefe's came out to demonstrate the operation of the generator, provided instruction and programmed the unit to run once per week on a day and at a time we chose for its weekly maintenance run. The service tech was very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. This unit although it is large in size runs at a very nice decimal - not real loud. IF Keefe's office personnel would have been truthful and honest about having to delay our install because they had only one crew I would have given a higher rate than 3 stars. No-one likes to be lied to and that's what happened in our particular case. What should have taken one month actually took over two months from beginning to end. Being honest with your customers is a very valuable tool. I can handle delays, but I am not very acceptable to being lied to.
