Most of the time, Kearns ID is probably fine. But they appear to have no government oversight. The Division of Public Utilities pawned me off to the Kearns Community Council or the Mayor's office. The KCC is unreachable and the mayor's office has no idea what to do.

I was disputing ""penalties"" that were not even for the amount they claimed, but piled up month after month as I tried to dispute them. I paid the water and sewer every month. Phone calls to KID never amounted to anything. Finally they sent a water shut off on a Friday to turn it off on Monday. I went into their office on Monday and Thursday, after the water was shut off while I slept, and they mysteriously have no supervisor ever around.

Only a complaint to the BBB saw a call from Bruce who finally dealt with my dispute and got my water turned back on within 15 minutes.

Amazing service. Very friendly. Always helpful when I have questions about my bill. And having checked water prices around the valley they are actually lower than most. I have been impressed and I have no complaints
