How things change. We had mostly good luck with Brandon when he rehabbed our deck two years ago. In our original review we said that Brandon paid attention to detail. Closer inspection revealed this was not always the case. We had to replace several of the spindles in the railing since they were noticeably bent.

We called him when it was time to stain the deck. We thought his estimate was high but we said OK anyway. He procrastinated thru July and August when the weather was nice. You need at least three dry days in a row to do the staining. He finally got started in late September and finished in early October. Several rain delays. We found a lot of missed spots when we checked his work. We think he was in a rush to finish the job and get paid. One good thing, he didn't ask for any money up front. My wife spent 45 minutes doing touch up. I spent 2 hours doing the same. The original estimate was for cleaning and two coats of stain. Brandon later decided that only one coat of stain would be required since we were using an oil based stain. Brandon took almost nothing off of the estimate for this change. We felt he should have taken 1/3 off of the labor part of the estimate since he only did about 2/3 of the labor that was in the original estimate.

Brandon did a terrific job rebuilding our main staircase, as well as installing our new kitchen cabinets. He's always prompt and communicates regularly when we have questions. I highly recommend working with him!

Brandon was quick to assist us after we bought our new condo and had a decent list of post inspection items that needed addressing! We needs plumbing work done on our faucet and toilet, repairs made to the kitchen sink, closet door and laundry room! Brandon was able to work with us at a good price and speedy service. I was going to hang my own Laundry room cabinets but chickened out and hired KBN. I'm really glad I did as they're installed properly, including the side trim pieces. Pricing was very fair- and they quoted a price instead of just an hourly rate.

They even broke down all the cardboard boxes and cleaned up when they were done. I'd definitely use them again.

Just completed my second job KBN Homes, planning a third. Skill set allows for completion of a variety of repairs at reasonable prices. Having one person to contact on all repairs reduces the annoying search cost of matching repair with vendor. Solid recommendation.

I requested a second stair rail for safety. He made a duplicate of the original oak rail in shape and color. So impressive!
