Chad Kawamoto recently came by again to do more work on my condo. This time to replace my kitchen faucet, replace a washer/dryer shutoff valve and fix my noisy toilet. Update 7/6/18: Knocked off a bunch of stars - these guys are only good if they get you on their schedule. I called Chad on Thursday for repair work and he said he'd call to schedule me for Saturday but nada. My wife called him couple weeks earlier and he didn't follow up with her either. Geez, if you're too busy, just be honest and say so instead of leaving me hanging. Now i've lost couple of days with leaking fixture which somebody more responsive could have fixed! Old review: The reviews are true, these guys are awesome! It took a while to schedule an appt with these guys (prob cause they're so busy!), but they arrived on time, assessed my leaking shower valve problem, and got on it. I was fully expecting that I would need to tear down my wall and replace the shower valve made by a now defunct company (so no service parts available), but Chad and his assistant were able to fix the leaking valve by replacing a simple O-ring. They even explained the problem while I observed their work, and they were careful to wipe up after themselves. Showerhead doesn't drip, valve not leaking behind my wall anymore, and done at a fair price. Professional and courteous service are harder to find these days but Kawamoto's Plumbing got it down. You hope you never have to call a plumber, but when the need arises, I know who I'm calling!

About a week ago I attempted to replace the cold water on/off valve under my bathroom sink because water was slowly dripping from where it's attached to the water pipe. To me it was an easy task because I've done it before and did not encounter any problem. After just one turn with a pipe wrench, the on/off valve fell off the pipe. The pipe threads and inside the valve were extremely rusty. Fortunately for me I was able to cap the cold water pipe, and not need a plumber to repair it immediately. I decided to contact Kawamoto Plumbing primarily because Chad has done a great job and the cost reasonable twice before. . Chad was able to come over the house in a couple of days, and replaced the damaged water pipe and attached a new on/off valve quickly. And subsequently at no charge, cleared the bathroom sink water faucet (the guk was causing low water flow). Everything OK now. :) :) :)

Can't thank Chad enough for his services! Had a problem with our shower and called numerous plumbers who were either fully booked or had long wait times. Just so happened to be on yelp and decided to send a message to Kawamotos Plumbing and Repair. Received a speedy reply and was able to be fit in immediately! He came in to assess the problem, left to purchase the parts needed, and came back to fix the shower! His quick responses, efficiency, professionalism, and friendly demeanor make him our new go-to plumber! 10/10 would definitely recommend!

The first time I called Chad I had water flowing from an underground pipe in my yard. He assessed the situation, ran out to get the parts and worked into the night by flashlight to finish the job. I called on him again yesterday, and he squeezed me in for today. I wasn't home when he and his crew came over, but I had explained to him over the phone what needed to be checked. I got home from work and everything was fixed and flowing! He does an awesome job! THANKS CHAD!
